I went to stanbic ibtc yesterday and filled the form. Then did funds transfer at my bank and gave them the copy. I realised I made a mistake with the no so I went back to my bank today to correct it but up to now my is yet to be debited . What could be the problem?

Stanbic IBTC mmf is not primarily an equity fund, investment in stocks is given the least percentage.

If you have an alternative with the same security but better yield, it's fine.
But you know our current compounding method would still give the mmf an edge over TB on a YTD basis.

Yesterday's yield for SIBTC MMF closed at 11.91%,a 0.1% increase..

When opening your MMF , always make sure you choose your dividend mandate according to your investment goals , either to be paid out or reinvested into the funds.

So I'm not going to put in the extra effort to check what Stanbic's rate is but assuming the rate is 10%, you'd be getting 750,000*0.1/12 = N6250.
