Hello Nairalanders, I recently bought the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A on Jumia which I have been using until the screen got shattered.

I have been trying to fix it since then but all to no avail as I do know where their Customer Service care is located in Nigeria.

I have also sent a message to their Facebook page according to a friend's recommendation but since Wednesday I haven't received any response from them.

Plz anyone who knows where their customer care is located should send it here. I cant use the phone since them because each time I look at the phone it makes me very angry.

You don't need xiaomi service center here to get that phone fixed bro.... Just place the order same way you bought the phone.

I recently replaced my mi max 2 screen here without stress.

Go to xiaomi thread and sick for help there

Ops don't mind that tecno/infinix guy up there...
Trust me your phone will be fixed with less stress than fixing your tecno in a service center that may ask you to come back in the next four weeks grin grin grin

Never buy a phone that doesn't offer services center in your country.

Bought one doogee phone like that, and when the screen got broken. I was told to order online for new screen.

How much did it cost to fix from ordering to paying someone to fix it?

You really don't need to be angry though.... A problem shared, is a problem half solved grin grin. But if they had one, it would be everywhere but obviously there's none.

With a little patience, changing most phone screens is similar to changing a car tyres cool, new screen, glue, a few screw drivers and a hair dryer, you are good to go..I have changed countless.. Visit YouTuber for tutorials..

First, why do people spend heavy money to buy phone but can't invest in cheap tampered glass protector? I don't get it.

Anyways, If you bought directly from Jumia store (not a seller on Jumia) then it has warranty, hence can be fixed in Nigeria. Jumia they'll give you the information.

Lol, these Tecno and infinix guys ehn.

They decided to settle for inferior products because they think it is stressful ordering for part and fixing it here in Nigeria.

The truth is you can order for any part of most Xiaomi phones on AliExpress and get it fixed by engineers that also fix infinix and Tecno phones.

I used my redmi note 2 from November 2015 till November last year without degradation in camera, battery and display quality. Can't say the same thing for Tecno and infinix phones have used in the past.

When I gave it to my brother who can break any screen phone. If you like put Corning gorilla glass 5 on top.

I ordered for the screen on AliExpress and get it fixed here in Nigeria, that was last month. It took about three weeks and 10k.

Tell me if these so called Tecno and infinix service center can get if fix within this time frame with zero stress too at that amount or lesser. Since they happen to be in Nigeria.

OP, don't mind these people. Navigate to Xiaomi thread here on nairaland and ask for help. They will get you link of a trusted seller on AliExpress you can order from.

Buy from Jumia if you are sceptical of other means, you'll still need to wait for it to be delivered. Also looks abit expensive too.

But how is a brand selling their product hardware in Nigeria does not have customer service.

Well Nawa for people that petronize them.

We are not complaining...

We knew what we were in for when we chose to patronise them
