Yoruba let go of this evil country you are holding onto so that all these manmade problems will stop. These useless accidents happening across the country will not stop until this cancer of a country is divided so that we can properly take care of ourselves. Is 50yrs not enough to attest that things will never get better?

Akoko and accident. I think the major cause is the topography. The hilly roads can make a driver prone to accident if not careful. some of my folks do refer to heavy duty vehicles as "Ota Ikare" back in the university due to the incessant accident. I wish the Ondo state government can relocate these markets to a safer location. Akungba of life. aauaites can relate better.

The truck which was coming from Ikare-Akoko road had a brake failure, I learnt he swerved in other to avoid hitting a mini-van(Agolo,a taxi commonly used in Akoko) but unfortunately he lost control and went straight inside the Ibaka market. Though it was so horrible yesterday but thank God it wasn't on Saturday which was the market day. I was there yesterday and I thank God I escaped death there. RIP to the deaths and may God console their families. |

benben1000:Tell them! tell them! Omoluabi tell them. Yorubas don't hate they only want a fare share of the Nigeria for the good of all but look at what we have. Crooks and evil people whom Yorubas will work hard for only to turn round like dogs, that they are, to bite. We have lost so many forward looking leaders(Chief Awolowo, Mko Abiola, Baba Rewane...etc) that hausa/Fulani and Igbos especially have betrayed in their regular trade mark. We overlook serious matters in the name of one Nigeria and small, small these negative people continue to encroach on everything that make us egalitarian and as people of valour. It is a shame even mare edo people will have the effontry to deny Yoruba because of jealousy, forgetting how the Yoruba gallant soldiers liberate their sorry arses from the usurpers from Biafra land. Yorubas have to really think because we stand to lose even more than what we've lost in the past if we continue this way. My five cent. 1 Like |
