I watched season 1 again and realized ivar is just like his father ragnar lothbrok. Ragnar doesn't like sharing his brilliant/tactical plan with his brother rolo. He prefers to keep rolo in the dark till the last minute making rolo look confused not minding the fact that rolo is his elder bro. same thing with ivar and hvitsek. ivar is refusing to share his plan with hvitsek making hvitsek look like a fool. I guess Ubbe cant tolerate such nonsense from ivar that's why he had to leave. Ivar no doubt is wise and intelligent, but I hate him. he is arrogant and evil. he has no conscience. I am looking forward to wen bjorn iron side will come to cure his craze

When I first watch season 1, also thought Ragnar is that elder because of the way he behave. And I don't understand why u hate ivar for been evil and arrogant, I wouldn't blame him for that. When people were making jest of ivar the boneless, where were u?

Ivar's father Ragnar wasn't like that(u know how many times he sparred his brother Rolo), that's the difference, ivar is gonna do great things but I don't think he can be like his dad, even Bjorn just dey try, can someone tell me whats up with floki?, I don't understand his character anymore

That’s not the floki from S1 - S4. Thru changed his character that’s why he is kinda boring to watch

Ivar's arrogance and unwillingness to negotiate will cost him the war. He may be winning the battles but there's nobody thats in favour of him anymore. The english will reorganize themselves and he'll loose

You do understand that Floki had some religious aspects attributed to him. Floki was anything but a coward was what he wasn't. When Ivar called him "a coward" jokenly for leaving. He dared Ivah to stand up and tell it to him. He was really a funny man(Floki).

But with advance in age came maturity and a reason to seek for answers to his life. He had to leave to sort himself out spiritually.

Perhaps you do understand now.

Ivar is a very tactical worrier.
The bishop only knows how to fight on his horse but not on foot. He kidnapped the bishop nd taking him to khategart. Even Ivar has someone he fears and that is Bjorne.
I guess the vision the bishop saw was about him going to khategart only God knows what ll happen

I feel for Bjorne he was about to be slaughtered but maybe the storm saved them in the next episode

But u could see the sadness on ivars face when he heard the bishop was captured.
