Google chrome for android has been around for about 5 years now and it has managed to earn the position of the most popular browser on android mostly due to its speed, ease of navigation, browsing experience and many awesome features.

Now Google is planning on adding another new feature to Android chrome browser and that is the ability to export saved s.
With this new feature, chrome s will be able to export their saved s easily and securely In a file format to a new device. This might not really be a groundbreaking feature but it's definitely going to come in handy.

The option to Export s will be available at the top-right corner of the s page in the Chrome Settings menu. Tapping on it will start the export process, which will a file containing your saved s to your smartphone. At the moment, there is no info on what file format will be used but it presumably isn’t proprietary.

Considering the increasing competition in the mobile browser category with new entries like Samsung Browser, Firefox Quantum and Microsoft Edge, new features like this will further help Chrome browser retain its position as the most popular mobile browser.

It's really not a bad idea and the file should be encrypted at least to make it secured. They are a couple of folks who uses different for a few specific sites for a few reasons and aside that, having to input all of ur old s over again when u change ur device, after a format/hard reset or probably when ur phone get stolen can be stressfull.

U can't save web pages for viewing later. can't go back without the page reloading can't select low quality image speed zero Can't pin speed dial on homepage.
I can go on and on..
