2019 | Fayose Defeated Buhari, Atiku Others In An Online Poll

The governor of Ekiti State, Dr Ayodele Peters Fayose who recently declared his intention to run for Nigerian President in 2019 has continued to enjoy massive from citizens across the country.

The governor who came first in an online poll with 31% above Buhari, Atiku and other contenders.

From what is gathered by WAILERSNG.com, opinions are still divided especially among youths on social media over the decision of Fayose to run for president, however the poll may also be an indication of the growing popularity of Mr. Fayose amongst Nigerians.

Governor Fayose has been the most vilified governor under the present istration of President Buhari because of his opposition to the ruling government, despite that, his voice continue to remain strong as an opposition figure.

On the day he was flagging off his presidential bid in Abuja, EFCC operatives were in Ekiti to arrest his commissioner of finance and ant general of the state, a move by Buhari's istration to strangle him of financial power with zero tolerance for an opposition which generate massive outrage as Buhari continues in his tyranny path.

Fayose is bold unlike others who may still be afraid of Buhari by not declaring their intention to run for President while election is less than 2 years, one of the argument of Mr. Fayose was that, how can a candidate who want to be President step forward in like 3 months to election when in other countries, electioneering campaign takes a minimum of two years before the election day.

The governor against the Zoning formula of his party has said, he is a Nigerian, that he also has the right to declare interest to run for President just like any other candidate from other part of the country, stressing that if he lost at the party's primary, he would not leave the opposition PDP.
