This man is deeply insane. The Bill “is clearly intended to encourage the excesses of bad government”. The Bill endangers constitutional guarantees of freedom of association, assembly, speech and even of freedom of conscience and religion and “will license unconstitutional discrimination too.” They are just working on taking this country back to military rule. Nigeria is finish, Youths are abandoning their homes and country in sojourn for greener pasture due to psychological Python dancing around their progress. We call them leaders, but these men have become machines. 83 Likes 5 Shares |

That law must not ! Phone your senator and tell. Senator Umar has only 1 vote! Unless the law is watered down and the toxic parts removed, it must not . We must not encourage bad behaviour. 54 Likes 3 Shares |

Nigeria can never get better. We the populace don't want it to get better. We keep selling our votes and campaigning for selfish reasons. We need to push our present crop of politicians out. All of them.

Built2last:USAID is not NGO, is an agency of the united states and beside tell me any foreign foreign NGO that is not regulated inits country. What are these NGOs afraid of sef, if you are clean what is there in monitoring their activities, mind you in this same Nigeria people set up NGOs for political relevance, blackmail or money laundry. In every industry there are bad eggs as it is NGO is an industry in Nigeria due to it proliferation so there must be bad eggs and it should be regulated 29 Likes 3 Shares |

littlewonders:you need to stop lying, okay? You haven't even read the bill. For what it's worth, the bill is to checkmate many disparities within the useless NGOs just springing up here and there. In fact, more importantly, the bill is going to help many NGOs with genuine interest. For example, provide govt assistance through waivers, intervention with foreign Bodies etc. All those importing arms and sending in money for terrosim, now, it's time to tell us what money you received and what you used it for... Unlike they doing as they like. No auditing, no financial responsibility. Abegii... If you haven't read the bill, from the link below and stop talking trash! https://media.timesng.com/wp-content/files/2017/09/watermarked_NGO-Bill-Copy.pdf 8 Likes 1 Share |

Up Nigerian assembly! Step up and do what you think will take d country to the next level afterall you were elected to represent all of us. We are human therefore, there should regulation in whatever we do. Left to me, even d churches and mosques should be regulated. If you don't hv skeleton in y our cupboard, why are you worried about a set of ppl being regulated. 1 Like |
