A team of Igbo leaders under the aegis of the Alaigbo Development Forum (ADF) has dragged President Muhammadu Buhari and the Chief of Army Staff to court over the on-going military operation in the South-East, code-named ‘Python Dance II.’

The suit filed at the Federal High Court, Enugu Thursday is asking the court to order the immediate withdrawal of the soldiers of the Nigerian Army in the South East of Nigeria on an operation for one month.

Another thread for the ever confused youths to throw insults at each while the problems continue.
It's crystal clear that in another 100 years, there would be no love between the major tribes in Nigeria.
Any small Crisis in the North, the West and Eastern youths laugh. Any trouble in West, the East laughs and any trouble in East, the West laughs.
"The chicken that laughs while the Turkey is being killed, should also know that the same fate awaits her"
And these are people who made up one geographiccal expression.
It's obvious the useless system is not working. But youths who are supposed to chart the way forward are still busy throwing insults at each other on social media with cheap Mobile phones.

I am no prophet but whatever we fail to achieve with peaceful resolution now may require blood to achieve it in future, and believe me, it won't be blood of one tribe.
You can continue laughing at your neighbor who is under siege.

After your IPOB crew has insulted the hell out of its neighbours, and the chickens have now come home to roost, they expect those other tribes they poured venom upon, to cry for them during their travails? Mbanu! sad It doesn't work like that...! Make everybody face im own calabash, biko. undecided Let every tribe carry its' own cross!

You mean if your neighbor insults you, you invade him with weapon? That's your solution to crisis?
Weapons against civilians? Some of you are just 10 generations away to civilization.

And the problems persist. Meanwhile this is a most heinous invasion by armed forces against unarmed civilians and you think its an all-tribes-carry-their-cross situation? Does it not tell u that the one Nigeria professed by Nigerians has fundamental flaws that all must condemn and address?

Guy, dem send you? shocked When Kanu was threatening fire and brimstone against various ethnic groups, and launching his verbal hate missiles against them, where were you? Instead of building bridges across the ethnic divide he destroyed them, and he now expects those at the receiving end of his hate speeches, to come and condemn govt on his behalf? Is that the way it works? You sef check am, nah! shocked

One Nigeria has flaws, no one denies that. undecided But can you prove that a broken or balkanised Nigeria would yield a better state of affairs? "States are made up of the men in them, therefore we cannot have better states unless we have better men." I can't who said it. But it still holds true till today. The new republic you are expecting to birth, would still fall prey to the same problems Nigeria has, if the mindset and thinking of the people do not change. I repeat: let Kanu carry his own calabash. His cup of hate has now runneth over!

Call it idiotic. Call it childish. In fact, call it whatever name you like, who cares? The truth is that whatever a man sows, he shall reap. Kanu sowed animosity through his hate speeches, and his ers who ed him in his campaign of hate, now expect those he vilified to come to his rescue? Don't tell me you are that dumb! shocked Nobody is endorsing weapons against civilians, far from it. All I am saying is that Kanu be left alone to reap the consequences of his actions. You cannot insult people into ing your cause! undecided If you think it is possible, then you are 30 years away from civilisation, o!

Try out this experiment and let's see the outcome.

Go out tomorrow and start insulting random people you meet on the road. Make sure you are persistent and also be certain you make fun of their religion, parents, spouse, children, family, tribe, race, job and way of life and see if you won't get severely beaten up before you reach the 10th person.

NB...This experiment and its projected outcome is not limited to any geographical location in the world.

The bold part is the point. It's tough to say weapons against civilians is not endorsed yet say NK should be left to carry his cross...he's not alone, he's also a civilian living among innocent civilians who have not taken up arms against the state so what is their offence?

It's just like the domestic violence narrative where one will say, 'I don't domestic violence and I condemn it', then attach an addendum like, 'Women are the cause of their problems cause they run their mouth'. Or, 'Rape is totally wrong but why did u go to his house?' Or 'Why were you on the road or why did u dress this way?' It means u are saying the victim is to blame for the wrong, criminal action of an aggressor.

Bottom line is, it is wrong fur the Army to be deployed among peaceful civilians who do not pose armed threats simple! There's no 'serves you right' moment to this.

He may get trounced by fellow citizens but it becomes another nasty angle when the police for instance, rather than quell such mob action, jumps onto the foray and s the free for all. He is still a citizen innocent until proven guilty and entitled to state protection of those rights until convicted by a competent court of law. Likewise, in Nnamdi Kanu's case, the state has taken actions of redress against him hence his arrest, long incarceration and subsequent trial. Having submitted the entire process to civilian authority of the judiciary it is statutorily wrong and reprehensible for the state through its agents to scuttle the process by visiting military might on civilians who have not posed any armed threat to the state.

Oga, there is nothing tough in saying weapons against civilians is not endorsed, yet say NK should be left to carry his cross. What is tough about it? shocked Kanu's cup of hate & illegal actions has runneth over, let him be the one to drink the contents all by himself. undecided. There is no addendum to this thing, abeg!

He is a civilian resident among civilians. It is impossible to drink this kinda cup alone. If for nothing else, he's from a royal family and is a prince so is always surrounded by civilian population. Flying bullets will not isolate just him and naturally, without the IPOB cause, people will rally round their traditional leaders. Are these ones then to be convenient collateral damage as is now the case? Have they done wrong?
The cup he can drink alone is a conviction by the court which process is ongoing. If that happens, he goes to jail and gets punishment alone so why this military deployment against civilians now?

If Kanu's actions and utterances have brought hardship and problems to the of his community, then shouldn't they be blaming Kanu for exposing them to this unfortunate set of events, as a result of his conduct? undecided The army stated that they were going on an exercise in the SE region, in Kanu's area. Instead of allowing the army to proceed quietly & peacefully through their area, Kanu's ers started throwing stones, bottles and missiles at them, thereby unwittingly turning themselves into combatants. The law allows the army to arrest them for such offences. sad

The army has conducted similar exercises in other parts of the country, with very little controversy. undecided The residents of those communities allowed them to carry out their operations, and they left peacefully. So why didn't Kanu's community also allow them to do the same?

There is an important area you cunningly left out.
That area is a situation where you are in a marriage you feel its not good for your social development etc,
Your husband beats you regularly and you want to leave the marriage, but he said no and locks you up.
You attempted to leave but because he has more guns and the of the evil people who forced you into the marriage in the first place to serve their own interests, he beats you even more.
Then you get frustrated and started throwing insults, he still keeps beating you even more.

My point is that People don't insult Random People.

Is Adeboye or Kumuyi part of your so called "husband(s)" preventing Ipob from leaving the union?
