It's not a poem. It's real life. I don't do poems. Just didn't feel like writing it the regular way. Worse off, it happened 2 Sundays ago

Hmmm! Just by the caption of the thread you know something big is going down in here.

Straight to my case, met this gal in 2013 when I started working to raise money to further my education, she was pretty, intelligent and loving.
She was not completely satisfied with her then relationship(I know the guy and how he works her psyche) and when I came along, her options increased.

I fell for her, asked her respectively and he humbled my request with a no. Immediately dumping me I the frendzone.

I was vice bf, assistant bf for almost 2yrs but I still remained undeterred and later in 2015, I saw clearly there was nothing for me I intensified my hustle for ission and neglected her, to cut long story short, we later got to talking after losing my mom that year, although I've bagged my ission.

Later she agreed we date, a month later I was feeling insecure because of the previous ordeals I went through whilst in the 'zone' and was skeptical if we'd continue when I get to school.

2months after resuming school, I slipped into another bout of depression that left my academics in complete ruins, then she called to tell me she's moved on, I was happy for her but not too sure about myself.

After the session I went home, she came by my place and we talked as friends, in January she gained ission and I saw she secured it.
Was busy with work that I have no time for myself that I didn't call for 2wks and she labelled me uncaring. Angrily I blocked her on WhatsApp.

After 1mth or so she started calling, I didn't pick nor returned the calls, later blacklisted her numbers, we had a very hitted exchanges of text messages and ever since we not ed each other.


Sometimes, I feel my heart tightening but I walk on like its nothing. Love leave us bleeped up whenever it goes sour.
I may never be the same again.

Tomorrow's her birthday(12/7) and I'm not gonna call or text for the first time since I met her.

Its called d shock stage babe!!! D enormity and suddenness of that news made ur body go in survival mode as a way of coping with the psychological pressure (some women often go mad at this stage or become violent) n u have ur stars to thank that ur still coherent to even type the story..With time, as ur psyche adjusts to d news, d shock.level will lessen n life goes on if u want it(some girls become embittered versions of their former selves driving everything-including vultures n angels from them)
