This guy has been in this business for a long time reviving any accidented cars brought to him either from abroad or from local insurance companies.

I think people like this needs to be encouraged by patronising him or using your position to bring this guy to the world. Belief me or not if people like this guy could be expose to more heart moving machine in automobil world... I mean this guy will deliver.

Ok, Abuja get many reliable Volvo mech, I was based there before I moved to lag, as regards performance, you can't go wrong with an S60(2000-2008 model, from experience) or the XC90(5cyl preferably if it's 06 and below), can't say much for the other models

customers are customers for who they are, some difficult , others easy.

u can take a lesson from today experience.
for example , when u have a troubleshooting that requires high financial outlay, u may let the customer know that u are proffering Long term solution, & then link customer up with someone who does do quick fixes, if u are able to judge customer is not able to take ur option.
Nothing has taken ur reputation , just be conscious of how u may handle diff cases.

please let us not assume DAT because a customer bought a car u term expensive, he or she has more funds at his disposal,
some buy their "dream car" with "all they have" others can afford without a sweat, fingers are not equal.
dear airex, while it's okay to be dissatisfied and feel bad about a service, the approach does matter, everyone of us are into one service/product or the other, u can not be 100% every time.
u should have just brought the issue to gazzuzz, stating what u went thru without coloring the issue so that the person can take a professional re-look of his action, explain why he took that decision and offer professional apology for not being able to meet ur need.

You opted for a cheap fix and got sorted your problem, that's your call. Are you honestly telling us that a replacement engine with guarantee from the installer is an awful thought to your kazeem short cut?
