Thanks. I was there but I went about 1 hour late. Shareholders were already asking questions when I got to the hall.

Key takeaways:-

1. There will likely be big provisions for NPL again this year but not as high as in 2016.

2. Overall, we are expecting a surge in PAT and EPS from this year going forward.

3. FBN is taking a lead in transaction income (Non-Interest Income) due to its leadership in e-channels' market.

4. From what I gathered, (I came in late) I think NPL ratio is currently above regulatory level to pay dividends. FBNH allowed FBN Bank to retain all its earnings.

I don't expect a higher than normal dividend in FBNH.

They did not serve us item 7 oo, only colder than normal AC and a bottle of Ragolis water at the point of exit. sad

Do your due diligence. JIJO, short-termers and speculators, buying FBNH is at your own risk.

Ha! Avoid CSL Stockbrokers (FCMB Subsidiary) they're unresponsive. I've been begging them to me since God knows when. I use ARM Stockbrokers.

Its Expected, those NPL are huge.

Thanks a lot. What are their charges like, and their research reports? Would you recommend them?

I think Morgan Capital has the lowest transactional costs in the industry but I have come across too many complaints.

Just as other banks are covering up bad books, Very possible too that the situation is worse than what FBNH management has presented to shareholders. We all receive what they are willing to disclose, which most times are polished. You can only vouch for disclosed contents if you are part of management with knowledge of the FACTS

Transparency and integrity seems to be the watchwords for this new FBNH management. In my little opinion, FBNH will only stabilise their profit this 2017 since they will not have heavy impairments to clean up like in 2016. By 2018, no one will believe the profit/value appreciation for shareholders (Reason: continuous increase in heavy gross earnings with huge constant decrease in operational cost and loan impairments). Lets not project that of 2019. I humbly advise patience and for the new management as they are almost completing the hard task set by the board.
Please, this is simply my little personal opinion/understanding

2016 Year end dividend was from other subsidiaries of FBNH, not the bank. (The bank makes up over 90% of the Holding Company).

Bro, I said key takeaways. And I mentioned "surge in PAT and EPS" going forward. That has factored in the 2 out of big 3 loans that are expected to be restructured this year.

I wanted my report to be free of personal opinion coloration. But if you want my personal opinion, my portfolio is now over 90% in FBNH and I plan to hold because no one knows the date and time the flight will begin. I also have confidence in the management and what they are doing.

I still advice JIJO, short-termers and speculators to stay away. Its a long-term risky play.

Shalom,

PLEASE ATTEND CHURCH ACTIVITIES REGULARLY

Hebrews 10:25 King James Version (KJV)
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

NOT JUST ANY CHURCH BELOVED. LOOK FOR A HOLINESS CHURCH VERY CLOSE TO YOU, LIKE "WATCHMAN" (they broke away from catholic church), "BIBLE MISSIONARY CHURCH", "DEEPERLIFE" (ohh! I love deeperlife monday bible studies, even thou I m not a member. It helps in building me, just walk into any deeperlife church worldwide by 7:00pm west Africa time, and you'll come out rejoicing.), "WORDPOWER", ETC. PLEASE DON'T GO TO HOLINESS CHURCH THAT USE ANYTHING HOLY, LIKE HANDKERCHIEF, WATER, SOAP, OIL, ANY CLOTHING AT ALL, ETC.

It's obvious that most people are no longer bothered about his posts, but the truth is, 'ignoring the facts does not change the fact' - most people are not comfortable with those beautiful post on this forum, so I believe respecting other people's opinion should be an important virtue of a good christain, even the Bible says try and be in peace with all men

Let's just leave him. People like him preach even in the buses and the Word of God is not meant to be accepted only when convenient. Bible says preach in season and out of season, Bible also says go yea into all the world and preach the gospel. So leave him, this place is still part of all the world. After all whose report should we follow? God's or man? Man says "don't preach" God says "go ye into all the world and preach". I think the brother is a die hard christian. The like of Paul who was tortured, stoned and even sent to prison many times for preach. Yet he continued. Pls let accommodate him, may be he'll bring in God's finger into our portfolios smiley

Thank you. Yes it helps. I think Morgan Capital charges 0.25% but I came across some posts saying there are other hidden charges.

I am not really a JIJO person. I don't intend to use signals or indicators per se. More of fundamentals, that's why I need a reliable broker that I can also use their reports. From what I have seen so far, I really like FSDH‘s analyst reports.

Will check ARM's charges. Thanks again.

Thanks a lot.
There was a time I saw complaints of hidden charges, as well as poor customer service. They were also suspended at a point in time. for JIJO, won't that be a problem? I know their trading platform is directly linked to the NSE's trading engine but is there any other stockbroker linked in the same way?

I don't really want to do JIJO but it is possible I want to exit shortly. I just don't want a broker that is prone to disappointing it's customers.

If you use Morgan, please share your experience. And other people too. Please help. Thanks.
