Which keyboard are you using? Try updating your TouchPal keyboard from playstore, if that's what you using.

Uninstall useless apps from phone. Clean junks once in a while and stop some background apps you ain't using.

The performance is good, plus more features added. But it can't be rooted.

There's no problem with the Upgrade. The only issue is that there's no way to root it after the upgrade.

I haven't been able to root after upgrading but you can change fonts from settings/Display.

Sorry for the late response. Yes. I eventually upgraded it. Aside the "screen overlay detected" pop-up messages, marshmallow runs smoothly and better than lollipop. Battery usage is better, it uses less memory and some cool new features (Do not disturb).
To stop the screen overlay messages, I restarted the phone in safe mode, navigated to settings>apps and manually gave access to each app (plus system apps). Afterwards, I tapped on Configure App> Draw over other apps then disabled their screen overlay (set the option to No).

Seriously? The screen overlay doesn't pop up anymore. Calculator was the last app doing that and as soon as I opened it in safe mode, it stopped. The only thing I miss are those changing lockscreen wallpapers/screensaver. I don't know which app is responsible for that.
