My Sony Xperia Z2 battery sucks. Even after updating it to Android M 6.0.1.. It barely gets me through half day with heavy usage and I've only had it for a year. I'm really considering swapping the phone for a lower one with gud battery or replacing the battery. does anyone know where I can do that or how much it'll cost?

What's your location? I will advice you to change d battery n continue using the phone cos within its range u can hardly find a phone that will beat Xperia z2 in of everything. Fix the phone n thank me later.

you can get genuine battery from aliexpress, that's where I got mine.

I'll like to buy a Sony xperia M5, been difficult seeing it around.

My xperia z fell dis morning, it was ugly, the glass backcover broke and the inbuilt battery came out, yet to take it to engineer. whats the worst case scenario pls?. there is glass protector on d main screen, but it fell on d back cover

thank God its not the screen. The back glass is within the range of 2k.

most recent (2015) 4dat amt is e4\e4g the rest are the older (2014 below) e1,l,m,sp etc,non is lollipop, below 2014 phones dont even have kitkat. NOTE exclude the brands o,because 2012/2013 phones like z,zl,zr are not less than 60k.lastly,dont use jumia and her sisters, konga yudala etc because dia prices are extremely outrageous,go to a good store.

Please can you suggest other Sony product because I actually want to go into Sony products. I am tired of rocking games and my phone going off under few minutes. I don't care if it's a UK use my money can get. Just a good Sony product with great spec to quench my taste of gaming and camera + storage

check any of the z5 series or x series. prices and specs vary.

I'm about to buy Sony xperia z4, can anyone here give me reason(s) not to go for it. I will be interested in battery life, it is heating and others things I should be aware.

@ hopeyemidotcom Xpedia Z4 comes with the dreaded Snapdragon 810 processor that is prone to over heating. The charging ports have flaps that easily get spoilt due to continuous charging. Without the flaps the phone looses it's water proof advantage.

It's a great phone if u r willing to root the phone and throttle the processor, to reduce the heat issues.

The Z5 also houses thesame processor, but it's advantages are heat pipes to help dissipate the heat properly. And there r no flaps for the USB slot.

Xperia Z4 is sold here as the Xperia Z3+, they are mostly in dual sim for 128k. I just updated my z5 compact to latest android os, marshmallow 6.0.1 and the heating issues have significantly reduced. If you dont want to take the risk you can check out the xperia m5. Its dual sim too.

If u r not a heavy , playing graphical intensive games and demanding apps all day, i will say go for the z3+.
