Get like 250+ due to the fact that you're from the south, and they consider candidates from the northeastern states first before others (for medicine n dentistry, don't know of other courses) while mainly those from the sough get itted on merit or by luck.

That ain't false hope bruv. Just because you didn't get doesn't mean someone will not.
Just like you said someone with 239 last year did get. A similar thing happened when I applied BDS with my 211, my friend said a guy applied with 235 the previous year and did not get ission, I told him I'm not that person.
Lo and behold here I am.
So you should stop discouraging aspirants. You just don't know when your shot is just by the corner.

i heard from an insider that ission list will maybe released on friday 9 or after sallah. So lets pray and wait.

Reliable sources say ission list is ready but couldn't yet be released due to some issues concerning MBBS allocation. They're trying to reduce the intake for UTME candidates due to some reasons somewhat regulatory.

The truth is competition for MBBS will be really tough this year. Good luck to you all. Hope to see you in UNIMAID
