I believe if any of those questions you asked were to be yes, you would have asked us why is everyone crying about getting dollars as difficult in Nigeria and why is everybody not doing what you just asked? The fact that so many threads and posts here are lamenting how difficult it is to get dollar should be an indication to you that none of what you asked is possible or correct, or else everyone would be doing it and no one will be here complaining.
If you open domiciliary , you must go and source for your dollar, euro or pounds sterling from black market or transfer from outside Nigeria or others to fund it.
Thanks for the thorough explanation. Savings acc to dorm. hmmmm. for where. God help Nigeria.

You may have to get dollars from parallel market and deposit into your dom or someone else's domiciliary so that transfer can be done to the school . Alternatively, you can find out if the school has a website for online payment using you card. Then get dollar card like GTBank dollar card since it has no limit and make your payment on their website.

My father has a dormicilliary with Gtbank that he can use to pay for me but the issue is which is better because the man that attended to me in Gtbank said they can as well make the payment from my normal savings with Gtbank. Which would be cheaper? Buying dollar from bureau de change to pay with the dormicilliary or paying with normal there by they being the ones to sell the dollars for me. Please i need your advice

Regards

I think GTBank outrageous rate is close to parallel market rate. So it's like the same except that you won't need carrying cash around for exchange if you choose GTBank option.

Thanks a lot. That means it is better I use the normal bank transaction as it is risky moving with huge sums of money. I also heard other banks sells dollars at lower rate but the issue is opening a dorm takes weeks and getting guarantors is another thing

You mixed it up. It's Payza that funds Nigerian dom in Euro not Neteller. Yes, I have successfully funded GTBank dom last year from Payza.

Hi arbitrage, pls I just read this thread. I want to fund my gtb Dom acct through neteller with abt usd1000 but would like to know how much will be charged by neteller and if gtb will charge me for receiving the fund from Payza.

If you attempt it, the website will show you how much you will be charged but know that GTBank will charge you for receiving.

How About Payza?
Have you tried them

bedfordng:
it may interest you to know that nigerians cannot withdraw in USD via neteller. According to them, they don't have USD withdrawal, you can only withdraw other currencies. That is the message i got from them when i tried withdrawal to my dom . I had to sell it to those who need to get naira

Sup bro, please what is the update at the moment? Which one is working if I want to fund the payment system (Neteller, Payza or any other one) with my Naira debit and transfer to my USD dorm.

Please help. Blessings.

I'm not sure Payza has Naira offering. I doubt it but mine is in USD and Payza sends to Nigeria only in Euro. So I had to open GTBank Euro dom to receive it because GTBank returned the first withdrawal that came as Euro to my USD dom and insisted that I should open EUR .

You may try it first as I wouldn't know if Zenith Bank will behave like GTBank, which insisted that I cannot receive Euro into USD dom unlike Union Bank that has received Pounds Sterling into my USD before.

All is working as long as your bank has not restricted or limited Web/POS transaction limit to zero ($0) USD per day.
