So I was at techplus event yesterday and Mtn agents were sharing pamphlets. They said I can get 7gb for just 2k. Wow that is really dope, better than glo and we all know Mtn internet is more reliable than glo anyway.

Well I've not tried it, I just got my free 1gb weekend data from Mtn , I'm going to recharge another 550 after I exhaust the 1gb to get another 1gb (I am going to stream a few matches today, man utd vs Dortmund on my mind). Then after everything I will use my accumulated credit to subscribe to this new plan. Anyone tried this yet?

UPDATE:. It actually works. I just texted 2016 to 121 and I got 7gb, plus my outstanding 2gb+ now I have 9gb+. On top of that I got free 2gb wow data for the weekend.

Yea same thing with me. I have about 1,400 on my phone and I tried the code said insufficient balance. I still want to enjoy the free 1gb weekend bonus, and by Monday I would have accumulated more than 2k, then I can subscribe. I'm a little skeptical though as I have more than 2gb of my normal plan, I don't know if they will add it if I go to a new plan.

Do u have to recharge N500 n above at once to get the 1GB or u can recharge bits by bits and still get the 1GB?

It has to be above 500 at once. If u recharge exactly 500 it might not work. And Mtn get sense, they have scrapped 750 recharge card,they now have 500 and 1,000. Ur best option is to recharge 550 via vtu

lol you are right. mtn have their crooked way of getting back at customers. I recharged 500 last Saturday and got the bonus.

This time around I recharged 501 just too be on a safer side.
I already saw some victims complaining.
