There was a fire outbreak at farm center GSM market ( Kano’s main GSM market )in Kano State this evening. The cause of the inferno is yet to be ascertained. Fire fighting personnel arrived the scene to control the incident and security personnel on ground to prevent looting of shops. As usual, most Nigerian markets are not fire proof. And how many of the traders had insured their shops? ' Time Nigeria brought in rigorous fire safety measures for markets and buildings.And time Nigerians took up insurance, no matter how much it costs. |
