If i get itted in another state for studies can i use my student visa to work and stay where i have my relatives?

If I am not wrong this your question shows and reveal your main purpose of travelling to US.

Anyway you can use your student visa to work on campus for 20hours and working off campus you might need authorisation if you haven't spend certain semester if not you face .

which visa can i use to work in the states legally as a graduate here in nigeria?

Are you going there to work or study

Each visa have their own policy... With student visa you can only work 20hours a week, there H1 or H1B am not sure but I don't know much about.

Good morning house.. I wish those that have appointment this week best of luck.. I want to ask questions, my question will be of two part.

Part 1: I have been seeing people talking about transcript, like send your transcript to Wes for evaluation and so so so. My question is this, transcript of undergraduate should be 8 semesters (4 sessions) but mine is 6 semesters (3 sessions) because i gained ission through direct entry. If i want to send my transcript, do i send just the 6 semesters or should i request for my OND transcript and send it along too?

Part 2: I have read a lot of transcript here, kudos to those that shared their transcript. The question 'who is sponsoring you' is what my question is all about. All the sponsors i have been seeing here is, my Dad, mum, uncle, brother or sister. It is my sister husband that want to sponsor me. Do i call him my uncle or just the truth that he is my brother-in-law? CC; Walspring, aadeyi, gunther6, don4eye, profojah2, mevisbleek, slimmy2005, dickoflife, msnas, lagosismyhome, ojah, imperiouxx, and others.

Almost impossible. ....but you need to get a job in the states first . Then that job puts in an application for h1b visa. You can check Google to find out more about that visa or other work visas

Anyone knows good schools in Maryland? Planning to do my Masters in either Information Technology or Computer Applications. Or something in that area.

My first degree is Information Technology anyways.

Bro, you sent me a PM, unfortunately I don't have access to the email I used for this acct. could you please tell me what you me to do for you. If you want a private chat then write your email in your signature and I will get back to you.
Why not change email in your profile settings abi settings, I think that option exists, so people can send you pm and you reply them, it's really a previledge for one to single you out for advice or help among so many folks here. Life is really so simple.

I'm heading to Texas Tech for PE. The tuition is pretty much affordable if you get the scholarship that'll qualify you for instate tuition. You might not get RA/TA from the outset. Most departments have the policy that you must have spent a year on campus and taken the International Teaching Assitanship workshop if you want a TA position.
Petroleum Engineering?

sorry no idea hence i did not respond ....
It would be best answered by someone who has followed a similar path .
My "hunch" is that since Nigeria follows a 4 year degree path for your course then you probably need the OND transcript too.

Hey people: is FAFSA available for international students?

Just got an Offer from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida to study Finance!

check this page out, tuition is 17k but with 1800 + SAT you can get USF Green & Gold Directors Award.
http://usfweb2.usf.edu/issions/scholarships/international-freshman.html

Also Southeastern Uni has Academic Scholars Point System so you might get something off with that SAT score

With a Professional certificate course of F1- visa can someone get visa from the embassy compared to the likes of undergraduate or masters degree.

Please someone should elaborate on F1-visa for professional certification courses.

Get a company to file H-1B or L-1(which you won't qualify for anyways since you are a fresh graduate) visa for you directly from Nigeria, get a GC or become a citizen.
