I experienced something similar some years back at Oshodi.

Trust me, the experience was horrifying.

I just travelled into Lagos by road, was carrying my hand luggage while safe-guarding my pockets at the same time. And I had plenty of cash on me. People pushing me from all sides.
I had been away from Lagos then for over 5years. Me way dem born and grow for Lagos come begin do like JJC. Everybody around me became a pick-pocket suspect.


Na God save me that day.

Government should construct under ground tunnels in places like that.

Thanks for the observation I work around the area and I understand what you mean but don't you think it is better you stress yourself within the few minutes you will climb the bridge and be safe than using the shortcut and few the pains for a long time

I'm not against the use of pedestrian bridge in a crazy place like Lagos where like zebra crossing is an alien term & nobody obeys traffic light & one way is d order of the day but my prayer is for the government of the day to look at better solutions not just this half baked one with tales of securing their lives. Check the one at fadeyi if you ain't careful u will end up falling in a ditch on a bridge

Exactly my thought! Even the Congestion on the bridge could be reduced if everyone were on columnns of straight line. Lack of discipline and patience won't let these evolving animals realize that! That's why Nigeria is the way it is, the people are worse than their leaders!
