The orphanage, the Helen and Bemigho Sanctuary for Orphans, was dedicated by Arch Bishop John Praise Daniel and commissioned by Professor Pat Utomi. In attendance were Senator Ben Murray-Bruce and Michael Moszynski, founder and CEO of the award winning UK advertising firm, London.At the event, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce immediately announced that he would adopt two children and train them up to university level. Speaking afterwards, Professor Pat Utomi pledged that if Senator Ben Murray Bruce would pay for the children's schooling up to university level, he would continue from where he stopped and train them up to Masters level. Reno Omokri, a pastor, built the orphanage in memory of his late mother and namesake Helen Bemigho Igbene, who died 12 years ago on March 17th, 2004.
