Guys, nipost does wonders these days. I dropped an application to be posted to at their office on the 11th of jan. The lady attendant told me it would arrive there in 2 weeks. However, on the 21st, the school mailed me that they had received the package. How incredible! I was really impressed. This was at a cost of N680 only. To imagine that I had previously paid 11,000(general discounted price) and 8,500(student price) on different occasions for posts to the same country through DHL. I reflexively yelled "f*** dhl!". #TeamNipost

Just like lobito said, nipost is doing wonders, na dem I dey use send am my documents except when it is very urgent... Saves me a lot of money and I have never heard stories dat touch... it takes approximately 2weeks, none of my docs had exceeded 3weeks by nipost

Pls you guys who have gotten a Phd ission to US schools should kindly share interview experience/questions asked during the online/telephone interview by the universities before the ission offer. This is to enable some of us to be better prepared.

I just spent 4hours going through this entire thread. Amazing! Wish i went through this thread last year, i wouldn't have rushed to take gre. I prepared for just 1month and scored a terrible 277. Do you think any school in Texas will grant my application? going for MA in Public Service and istration. Honestly, i want to retake the exam, but i am tied up with so many things, plus wify and maternal duties. Looking to apply to the following schools ..Pls guys make una advice a sister.

277 is a lil low, but u can check the sch's website for their GRE requirement, you would also need a good GPA, SOP and recommendation letter. However, if you choice is to re-write. Prepare for about two months, get the magoosh video posted via a dropbox link (can't the exact page). It will really help in your preparations. Don't be scared, be determined..."na small tin".... cheers

Thanks alot. My GPA is 3.98/5 . I don't know what the result will be if scaled on a 4. I will retake the test.

your GPA is good, some schools use your last two sessions only.

Hello everyone. Ermm.., I've been a ghost follower of this thread, well, ively but still noob. I feel its time I said something . I really commend the efforts of DanjaNinja who created the thread and those who has contributed in one way or the other. Thanks. In every way I can, I would love to give back to the thread too.
I will be taking the GRE mid this year. Preparing for the exam has been a bit daunting. Sometimes you've got so many materials and you just don't know where and how to start. Quant is going good. Verbal has been a rough one. I think I need help on that. What technique(s) can be used in learning those words.
