THE Federal Government through the Central Bank of Nigeria, on Tuesday, imposed stamp duty of N50 on bank customers for money received into their s. This no doubt however is a fraud in many aspects. Although, “For all avoidance of doubt the following receipts are however exempted from imposition of stamp duties: payments of deposits or transfer by self to self whether inter or intra bank; and any form of withdrawals/transfers from saving s; It should be noted that these charges are only payable by receiving s; However, Nigerians shouldn't be troubled. The best way to beat this system is outline below: Step 1: gather the amount of money to be deposited. Step 2: divide it by 900NGN or if U are like me, divide by 999NGN. Step 3: pick the number of payment slips you need. Step 4: deposit accordingly. Traditional methods can also be applied; 1: bury deep in the ground of your backyard and tie red cloth around it. 2: bury deep in the ground, kill chicken constantly on the spot and pour oil. 3: bury in the floor and use "dig and faint charm". I hope I've saved your 50NGN.. Please if you have other methods, you can drop as comments.. Save Nigeria from A**.. Peace 11 Likes 1 Share |

kibzz: Hmmmm some banks have started charging N210 per transfer form. Am sure other measures will apply and teller deposit slips will attract a fee. Then u will be more careful how to use the bank's instruments with caution and care |

Since payment or transfer to self is not included tell the person paying you to use your name in place of his name and copy the teller number and send to you. Eg peter want to pay mike N5K and peter dont want to receive the money as N9,950. PETER SHOULD tell mike to use peter in the name of depositor in the teller ,then mike must show he paid the cash by sending the teller number to peter or keep the teller number as evidence of payment 2 Likes |

For all avoidance of doubt the following receipts are however exempted from imposition of stamp duties: payments of deposits or transfer by self to self whether inter or intra bank; and any form of withdrawals/transfers from saving s This is the only way out. Just fill the depositor's name as 'self' or as the name of the holder. That's all. |
