I havr been away from this thread for so long only to gaze through to see many wonderful surprises. We now watch features and balloting on YouTube, that is a step in the right direction.

I salute ur creativity, the ion and resource committed to making the competition up to standard.

We can still consider 8pm for Sunday's debate, however how many team member are in your team? Moreover your team getting her debate fixed on Sunday is 50% probability, so not to worry. Nevertheless we have your comment on note.

Hi Everyone,

Here are the rules guiding Nairaland Interschool debate third edition Elimination stage.
As we all know this stage, it's either you work your way to the next stage or you find yourself out of this intellectual exercise, so pay close attention to the instructions. As participants will not be score base on your argument alone but also how strong you can convince the audience, Co-debaters and judges in the rebuttal. We hope to see you all in the next stage, but only 8 will be crossing over.
We hope to have our best debater s argument in one of the dailies, so originality all the way.

1.) All Participants who want to represent her citadel must declare his/her availability on this thread a day before the stipulated date for the debate.



2.) The recommended font size is the default size (size 8.) and the colour is the default colour (black).



3.) The essay should be in maximum of 1000 words and a minimum of 800 words.

(We decrease the word count for this stage intellectual brawl to reduce the amount of copy and paste and brings out the originality embedded in our participants, you are free to make reference, but copy and paste will be vehemently discourage unnerve.... If we catch you .


4.) The use of SMS language and abbreviations are strictly forbidden.



5.) All materials used should be properly referenced at the end of the essay.



6.) All essays must be submitted on the stipulated date and time...
