Few Pics From Imo State (2661158 Views)
Kelechi121: 10:23pm On Dec 25, 2015 |
The truth is that imo state is one of the most liveable places in Nigeria, people that think they are attacking Okorocha by attacking imo state, are doing great disservice to themselves. Make no mistake about it, imo state is the future of Eastern region as oil prices are going down the drain, imo will provide a tremendous gas supply which will equal the future challenges of the Nigerian state. So you might want to bow down to the King.

Abagworo: What shall it profit you, your governor and others who think Owerri is all about Imo state, when thousands of people in Orlu and elsewhere outside Owerri in Imo state start to die of lung diseases resulting from inhalation of dust from the roads abandoned here by Okorocha contractors in the last four years? Inadequate education is a huge disease: as this prospect of mass lung disease is being mentioned, some local champions don't understand what may be at play; your governor instead of coating the dusty roads, ignores the impending disease disaster, but continues to build new roads where no humans live in his city of Owerri; and you show the roads with talk of tourism capital of Nigeria. 1 Like |

mandax: Oga nobody will die of lungs disease, stop talking as if you fall from another planet. How many have died in the North where dust is part of their weather? We are in Africa where more than 55% of our roads are not tarred, so stop acting as if Imo state is exceptional. Rochas has tried in Orlu, you can't expect him to leave owerri and invest Imo resources in a small town like Orlu. Now Orlu is better and finer than all the towns in Nigeria that are in same status with it. Rochas has attracted many development in Orlu more than other previous governors. He attracted many higher institutions to Orlu, like the school of Health technology, upgrading of TESAC facilities to polytechnic status, and the newly constructed Imo-american university which you and your fellows termed private university and also criticised him on that . 1 Like |

Abagworo: This is what pisses me up about igbo people. U run a place down just to uplift your place. In which way has owerri sured Calabar. Calabar Is another level. Is it beauty, good roads etc. If u say that Owerri is the cheap se.x capital of Nigeria that would be understandable. Because all I saw in owerri aside bad and decaying infrastructures are battalions of women all over the town seeking for men. U dont call that tourism but disaster & chaos. I refused to share the pictures i took here knowing how some of u will misconstrue it but I will share it anyways if u keep attacking south south states. Cc: HopeAtHand 1 Like |

If we really want to attract tourism we should start thinking outside the box.. Look at what others are doing.. They break boundaries and move away from the conventional.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLejkyXbJlc&app=desktop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRIrs8hQNv0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lC4LNAzhFRU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXR8Df_Bml0 All these things are not even that expensive if you really look at it, but they generate a lot of income in tourism.. This just creativity it doesn't take a genius.. Instead we spend 600 million Naira on a Christmas tree and 30 billion naira on a statue of hand that just looks stupid.. And we celebrate it too.. Even in our carnivals the least we could do is find ways to promote native traditions and things that are uniquely African or uniquely Igbo.. Why can't we invest in masquerades?? Those are the things that would attract tourists because those are things that are not found anywhere else on earth.. Why would anyone travel half the planet to come and see girls wearing wigs celebrating their distorted and perverted sense of colonial insecurity?? When they can just see it in their home countries.. But if we revived and developed ancient architectural designs and cultural dances and incorporated them with modern technology you will see how many people would come and visit.. If we filled our cities with beautiful gardens and with statues in ancient African styles you will see how many people will be attracted.. Instead we are too busy demonising all the indigenous treasures that we have while trying to blindly copy people that we are not.. Even common cannabis that has been proven to cure a multitude of diseases as well as halting crime rate has been banned on Nigeria.. We keep arresting cannabis sellers when we could generate a lot of revenue from selling weed.. Which is the most natural and healthy plant on this planet.. Why do we ban it?? We don't even know.. We are just doing as the Europeans said we should do like freaking puppets.. Meanwhile some countries are making millions and billions just from that industry.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDJLXKEYdVg So sad.. 1 Like |

The only unique things that we have even we demonise them or we don't promote them.. Some places attract tourists just with fireworks.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUCgaK8wufI&app=desktop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-tYT71RHcQ The whole point of tourism is to see something that is not commonly found in your environment.. So which one would attract more tourists ![]() These??

I am at owerri right now, Imo state. Apart from the area the rock view is located all other areas are flop. Roads are bad, all u see is Rochas pictures on every school, every road etc. The other local governments are worse my local govt at ehime apart from one small road that es tru our junction nothing again. We ve been hearing Rochas school, Rochas hospitals, its not by building fine buildings thats not operational and its empty. Rochas, and all other past and future politicians, imo state is ur state if u think u can run from it by building houses in Abuja or Lagos or Abroad think again what is yours is yours. Even if u like buy heaven for the sultan of sokoto or stay in Lagos all ur life even if u like speak fluent yoruba or hausa dat won't change d fact that if u are and will always be from Imo. 3 Likes |

ekafine: are you sure you know Owerri or are you talking about Owerrinta? Hmmmm, this must be a yoruba bas.tard. Lets not fall for this guy tricks, he wants to draw argument between Igbo and Southsouth. |
Afam4eva(m): 11:20am On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:The other day you were rubbish in Enugu and now you have the audacity of accusing someone else of running down Calabar. You must think everyone sees the world through your eyes. You prefer Calabar to Owerri, another person thinks otherwise and you want to run mad. Have you ever considered killing yourself? |
MyGeneration(m): 11:20am On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:look at dz mumu calabar gal u re calling hopeathand an ikwerre man from ph to come and defend u. u want to turn it into southeast vs south south, calabar is a dead city, tourism zero, development dead, d moment unical closes everywhere bevomes a dead town, call even barcanista that wont change the fact that u are from a dead state. Even ur women even if it they like let the sex be free I wont come. |
Afam4eva(m): 11:21am On Dec 26, 2015 |
B2mario:What's the deal about Owerrinta though. I think a new emerging town can come out of it. |
HopeAtHand: 11:28am On Dec 26, 2015 |
Afam4eva: Afam, that is too harsh from you. This is a season of love, dont wish someone to commit suicide over something unimportant. Merry Xmas. |

Afam4eva: i never rubbished enugu but what i stood against was saying that enugu state is better than river state. go back and read my posts. kill yourself if you want. |
ekafine(f): 11:32am On Dec 26, 2015 |
MyGeneration: you just confirmed in your post that owerri is a flop and has bad roads all over it, so what else am i supposed to trade with you? calabar is another level. owerri is full of cheap se.x slaves, i can't spend a night there for anything in that jungle. let your gov do something about decent job creation instead having your girls engaging in dirty roadside job you all call tourism. ![]() MyGeneration: |
Afam4eva(m): 11:32am On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:So, what's the difference between you saying that Port Harcourt is better than Enugu which is your opinion and another person saying that Owerri is better than Calabar which is his opinion. |
MyGeneration(m): 11:36am On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:calabar girl, ur state is dead... If u dont know even in owerri its only the prettiest of ur girls dat come here why the ugly left overs stay back, when they come they start using igbo names like chidinma and d rest it's only as time go on that u find out they are from calabar what is driving them from there state, apart from Rivers state, no southsouth state should make any silly noise on the Internet. Now take the rope, go hang urself. |
ekafine(f): 11:36am On Dec 26, 2015 |
Afam4eva: they are two different things because. read in between the line, then you will see where i cautioned him for downgrading calabar |
Afam4eva(m): 11:36am On Dec 26, 2015 |
MyGeneration:I never knew a day would come when someone would call an Internet man to come and fight an Igbo man on their behalf. |
Afam4eva(m): 11:38am On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:So, what's the difference between what you said about Enugu and what he said about Calabar. If anything, he was being kind. Except of course, truth only come from your mouth only. |
ekafine(f): 11:38am On Dec 26, 2015 |
MyGeneration: i laugh at you. the same owerri girls that are everywhere including here in abuja. keep deceiving yourself ![]() |
MyGeneration(m): 11:39am On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:lol... ur girls cannot even qualify as cheap hoes because nobody wud patronise them they are too ugly already. Ur state is dead deal with it, no wonder all dz people from dead states want to die ontop Niger delta matter because they want to steal whats not there's. Go and develop ur dead state. Anything thats wrong with owerri is a 10times worst in calabar #facts |
MyGeneration(m): 11:40am On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine:lol... so u are in abuja, whats driving u from ur calabar now, or are u in one hotel claiming chidinma as a name too ![]() |
MyGeneration(m): 11:51am On Dec 26, 2015 |
@ekafine if owerri deals in cheap sex, calabar deals in cheap slaves. All the house boys and girls our family had are calabar girls and they know there fellow slaves as they know there fellow slaves as its either gate man impregnated them or der fellow slave does it. Your girls dont offer cheap sex they beg u and hope to u do it free for even pure water coz naturally pvssy controls there sense of reasoning. If u live in a glass house never throw stones. |

MyGeneration: The billboards are annoying I must it. I'm in Imo State too and coincidentally everything I've seen is highly improved from Roads to schools and even the hospitals are now structurally completed. Development is gradual and amazing if you stay off for a while. It seems your side happen to be on the bad end which I've not seen as I have no business crossing Orji town. Saying it is only Rockview area that is fine means you did not go round. I pray I have time to do lengthy videos driving around. Majority of Owerri from New Owerri all the way to Okigwe Road is excellently clean and well kept. It is extremely modern I must say and I proudly took my European guests around to their amazement that it isn't Abuja or Lagos. Even Amakohia/Akwakuma is now extremely neat one can even use the road as plate for meal. The roundabout to Mbieri and Orlu that used to be dusty is very clean. I promise series of videotapes if I get the chance.. Work has obviously resumed at Umuapu Ohaji but it looks like the company is on break. Failure to do reasonable work this dry season will render the road useless by next year. I however believe that with Buhari the road will be completed in 2916. The Owerri-Orlu Road dualisation has gone far with the bridge at Njaba almost completed. The bad spot at Irete has been filled and repaved. Maybe the renewed friendship of Araraume and Okorocha might bring better governnent presence to Mbano. Ohakim could have emulated Okorocha by dualising Orji-Anara Road which is even shorter. 2 Likes |

ekafine: Lies.. Don't start that nonsense.. Calabar is the prostitution capital of Africa.. Not even Mombasa comes close.. Not even Lagos and Benin.. Cameroon girls and Calabar girls are competing for who has the most sex customers.. It's even in the "news".. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmJ69iHT9ds&app=desktop Although with these Yorubbers and their lies you can never know if it's true or not.. They are all jealous of the beauty in the East so they can make up anything.. However there must be some truth in the article.. |
madenigga(m): 12:00pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
owerri tried, d buildings are magnificent and fine but the govt shud try. Also most of the old buildings needs repainting. |
Abagworo(m): 12:00pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine: I never downgraded Calabar. The issue I raised was simply how FG's neglect killed Donald Dukes costly investments. No road to Calabar from every part of Nigeria. As at 2009 the roads were motorable and people trooped into Calabar more. I stopped going to Calabar because of the roads. I have always loved the city which of course is the most beautiful in the East but the truth is that its dying and if nothing is done about the link roads then it will die completely. The bad Umuapu road affected influx of tourists like me from Port Harcourt to Owerri. Owerri took advantage of its strategic location and easy accessibility to steal the show. The rich tourists in the East come from Port Harcourt, Delta, Bayelsa, Onitsha and Aba. Today Aba people stop at Ibom resort and Uyo then turn back without ing Itam. |

Hopeless I.diot I have warned you to desist from mentioning any part of Anambra in your tirade. Let me make it clear, no part of Anambra visits Imo state or any part thereof for any reason whatsoever because we have everything and anything within our boundaries. Stop dragging others with you because we have nothing in common. Owerri as a big commercial se.x market cannot be mistaken as tourism but what it is. I can bet with my house that the only time I know that there is a place called imo state is whenever I am ing through on my way to PH. Stop being silly or this thread will catch fire!
