Please I dont really want to say much until I confirm shell actually sent the message. my application status is still showing under review. I believe it should change to pending interview before I get the mail. the message sent was from SPDC and not DoNotReply@...... So I believe someone might be taking advantage of the recruitment process. I have sent a mail to shell and when I get their reply then I will know how authentic the message is. Lets just hope for the best. GOOD MORNING ALL.

Guy relax. It is not a matter of solving 1-16. though a friend told me he solved 1-16 and still have time left. I believed him not because he is exceptional, he was not the best in his class but he has a proven record on aptitude test. he wrote total for their summer school in and he emerged the best. He wrote schlum for IT and got it. I believe for you to ans all is possible if you are very good in mathematics and have high comprehension ability. I am default in one so make the judgement yourself. if you have those skills you can solve all because you dont need to write all you do is to think and punch your calc for ans. So bros you dont have to finish all to get called. I believe less than 1% can actually finish all.

Same group discussion and case study exercises, but different interview/presentation exercise. Business Scenario interview for commercial guys, technical presentation/interview for technical guys, where you talk about a past project you have done and you will be fired questions based on it.

If you get email from @spdc.com, it is fraud. All Shell email addresses are @shell.com

Yeah, it's scam. I guessed as much when I saw that the email was from SPDC and not Shell. Shell recruitment is handled centrally. So you should not even be ed by nigerian HR at this stage. Like I said before, you will be notified via email from Shell if you are selected for an interview. Thats when your status can change to 'pending interview'.

He initially got the application under review mail. That was on the 10th of November and by Monday 23rd November. They sent him the regret mail. Meaning they had gone through his application

I think it is the first test (competency test) that has a or fail outcome. The second test (decision making and numerical) are not or fail. They are scored. That is my own opinion tho

The decision making also has a or fail outcome. Did mine (decision making and numerical) and also did for two friends. We all got the the review mail.

Another friend asked me to help with his but because I was quite busy, told him to do the decision making while I do the numerical. Not long after I finished the numerical which was quite cheap(the cheapest I've done so far), he got a regret mail.

Since I couldn't have failed the numerical , the regret must have come courtesy of his decision making.

So I feel your friends regret might have to do with the decision making and not numerical.

PS: I might be wrong
