Are Nigerian politicians not ashamed of the naira as it is now.
Our next door neighbour that we pursued some couple of years ago by saying Ghana must go which is the bag the politicians are currently using to loot money now have a far better currency and will soon say Nigeria must go as a lot of Nigerians are currently residing in Ghana.
Just some couple of thousand Ghana cedis is almost 2 million naira.
It's so pathetic .

Everything no be APC. This has been treated here many times.

Check the price of anything online, maybe a gadget, check the price online, do the same search on cedis and covert it and get the result yourself.

Africans are so obsessed with exchange rate that they lose sight of important things, I have always been saying this since ages ago.
South Korea Won is about 1,300SKW to $1, the sharp difference between SK and Nigeria is economic growth, development etc.
I'm sure the average Ghanaian will dump Ghana and the cedis for SK and their won.
We should be more focused on development, economic growth, etc rather than talking and keep talking about exchange rates, we have been doing this talk for ages, is the currency getting better or getting worse?
If we have been focused on what I mentioned all the years we were focused on currency, we won't be here.

Meanwhile an average Ghanaian can't even afford 10K Ghc.

You guys can defend the indefensible. I hope u are well paid for that. Because if you are doing all these free of charge or because "it's my tribe thing" then you are of all men MISERABLE

In Ghana, salary ranges vary significantly. The average monthly salary is roughly GHS 4,000, but this can fluctuate based on factors like experience, industry, and location. The minimum wage is approximately GHS 351.78 per month.

The fact that Buhari did it does not mean I it, that's the pr0bIem with people who has Iow grade school of thoughts, I have never ed the idea of bIabbing and bIabbing about exchange rates, I have always been on it since the early 2000's.
Low grade mentaIity people don't even know what tribe mean anymore, a political party is not a tribe, nor choosing one candidate over the others is not a tribe, I hope you have learnt something something today.

You a party whose mandate was "is N215 ok?"
And they came into power and made is 1600. And now you are telling us that exchange rate should not be a benchmark for economic performance of the country. Hypocrites

High grade mentality but dollar is driving everything in the country. Even to the locally produced cement and you are here talking rubbish

Should our economy be dependent on dollar? NO

But why is it that apc hypocrites that campaigned on the back of 215 to $1 was a failure now suddenly recognizing that $1 to 1600 is not a failure any more

Whether at N200 or N1600, the naira has greater purchasing power than the Ghanaian cedi (GHS). This is unrelated to APC, PDP, or any government in power. Lookup the redenomination of the GHS in 2007 I think.

And the water, the food the average Nigerian in villages eat and drink everyday is based on exchange rate?
The energy you lots commit into talking about exchange rates since 1999, if you have committed it into talking about industrial growth, we won't be talking about exchange rate.
The talk for over 25 years is not worth it, if you can't see that's the point I'm trying to make, you shouldn't be replying me.

Ohhh but the candidate you like condemned $1 to N215, came in and raise it to 1600 and now sent you to defend the rubbish and be telling people dollar rate doesn't matter anymore

How much is your iq that you don't understand that dollars drive the country. Or the cars, raw materials, electronics etc are all produced in your father's backyard? Even the fuel produced locally, is the price not pegged with dollars?

Many brainless things running around NL claiming they know next to shit

If I'm sure if we come to display our brains or what our brains has helped us to achieve in Iife, both u and ur fada combined w0n't come cIose to mine.
If u have brains, u will understand perspectives, u will understand to read meaning into words or statements people make.
Let me put it to a duIIàrd in a way he will understand.
The energy committed into talking and talking about dollar rates should be channelled into growth, that's more important than talking about dollar rates that we do everyday here.
If you still don't understand this, you shouldn't be talking about bràîñs, you should rather focus on getting one.

Lol, this one is still here talking rubbish
The energy bla bla bla. Somebody that claims to have brains but still can't differentiate between wishes and reality
You will tell the brainless thing that currently Nigeria runs a dollar dependent economy and therefore the success of any government policy is also evaluated on its impact on dollar exchange rate, he will be here telling you about future growth.
.so Nigerians should forget that high dollar rate is spiking the prices of some foodstuffs, automobile and spare parts, baby food, even petrol and start talking about growth. So we should all die of hunger while waiting for the growth

If I ask you what growth now, you will tell me local industries, If I ask you now how long it will take Nigeria to achieve that, you will see the rubbish your brains will spin out.

They don't have a far better currency, they redecimalised their currency.

Start by adding at least three zeroes to get the real value of the Cedi.

Also despite redecimalisation, their currency is back to toppling over again. They are in big trouble while we at least have redecimalisation in our pockets to do which I hope doesn't happen.

Please investigate things a bit more before starting topics.

So why is Tinubu not giving his best? or are you saying this is his best?

The guy you are talking to is an ordinary citizen like you, what best have you given to Nigeria?

What is Tinubu president for if you are blaming ordinary citizens for not improving the country?

I pointed it out to correct your attempt to tie this to politics, which doesn’t make sense—especially when the naira has stronger purchasing power in this context. But it’s clear you’re trying to spin a narrative you don’t fully understand. Stop exposing your ignorance—ChatGPT is free.
