I love the movie.

I have never expected peeshun peeshun from a Steven Soderberg movie. Besides, action movies are not even my favourite.
My decision to watch it was driven by the ratings it received here.

DUNE debuted as a streaming day and date release in 2021.

In 2023, Barbie was released in July but got streaming release in September. With the way WB are marketing SUPERMAN, that film is arguably their most important movie this year (in fact in the next few years. It's responsible for launching a whole franchise). So while they're from the same company, they're actually two different things.

It looks like BARBIE level kind of importance and marketing. There's huge expectations for SUPERMAN unlike DUNE.

Good watch. I like Jack Quaid. Don't go and be expecting 9/10 sha 🤣

Well the dialogue and plot were interesting to me. Gave me an insight into what marriage really entail.

Honestly I've heard almost everything about the movie + spoilers and clips.

It was still amazing. I think there was something about seeing two MBJ at once. The synchronicity was quite captivating.

The rest of the cast did a stellar job.everyonw is on about hailee stangield but my heart was stolen by jaymee lawson. She was just sensual from the first scene like an erotic temptress. I'll have fallen flat and laid down accepting my fate.

All in all it was worth the hype and met all expectations. There's one scene I didn't see coming and haven't seen spoilers on it but I was taken aback and amazed. That was my favourite scene outside the barn.

Worth the watch.

I got alot of From Dusk Till Dawn vibe from the movie. Though I honestly feel they should have made it into a series, rather than a full length movie.

A series would have had the time to focus on character development more and throw more insight about the twins, and their shady dealings, heck, they mentioned Al Capone. Lol.

The Irish jig routine. I liked it.

Yes it had a lot of dusk till dawn vibes and we all knew what was coming. It would have been nice to go in expecting a hardboiled action movie for it to turn into a vampire movie.

The producers and directors deprived us of that. Let's hope they will decide to make a sequel.

Michael B Jordan did it with Creed. It's successful, I wouldn't mind seeing him try this again with Sinners.

I believe they will make money from it. It's what building is all about. See how Game of Thrones started and later became a cult classic?

Perhaps you felt that way because the whole movie is rushed. That's how it seemed to me. If they had even broke it down into parts, it would have been better. Throwing more light into the ing characters as well, would also had helped.

Anyway, they can still decide to continue with a sequel. It's what Hollywood is known for, and do what I said above by going to the past, when the twins worked in Chicago etc. Heck, we don't even know why the twins were feared. Lol.

The goal of the movie is simple, you can't cheat death. Everything dies. Whether it's now or later, we all die. Even that kid who survived in this latest installment, will die, that's the purpose. All in all, everything dies. You can't cheat death.
