I didn't say Chelsea, Newcastle finished 5th with 66 points same as Villa, so even a draw would have taken Villa to 5th place and the Champions league🙄

Bruh, it slipped that's why the Villa player was able to contest it. Even the commentators said it. But at the end of the day, the decision rests with the Ref🤷🏿‍♂️

It wasn't about hoping anyway.

They simply are not good enough... They were lucky to get that far in Europa, not because they prioritised it over the league.

They were never finishing in the top 6 or 7, no matter how they tried... Same with Spurs.


As soon as both teams escaped relegation with games to spare, what else did you expect them to do?!! Keep stressing few key players just to finish 2 or 3 steps above their current dismal positions?!! What difference would that have made?!!

If Spurs had dropped out of Europa at the Knockouts, and finished 10th, what would they have gained?!!
