There is always a general consensus on where the presidency should go next. It will generally follow that pattern unless the zone whose turn it is self implodes. Politicians have a bad reputation but this is their profession, they understand politics.

In any event, the key word throughout my posts is “entitlement”. You may get what you are not entitled to but not because it is your “entitlement” and if you do you will usually post a nasty price for it. The North for instance have the numbers and may decide to gang up to chase out Tinubu in 2027 but be sure they will pay a heavy price!

We are still paying the price today for the missteps of 1963 and 1966. Whatever you say about politicians, politics is their business. While a few may be driven by power and ambition, the larger majority understand the ramifications of certain decisions.

The ramifications of not adhering to convention is not lost on wise heads irrespective of the moves and rantings of a few hotheads and ambitious politicians.

That is why I said I would be a sad day if Tinubu does his 2 and a yoruba man becomes president of Nigeria before an Ibo man.

I think the NW and SW will play a big role in who becomes president for the foreseeable future as they are both out of the Aso rock power Equation post 2031 but have huge votes.

Like I said presidency particularly for minority geopolitical zones is a once in 48 year phenomenon. When it your turn don’t mess it up by presenting unelectable candidates. Am unelectable candidate is a candidate that other zones will not vote for. This is why Awolowo never became president….it is why Obi will never become president, it is why the SE will likely have to wait till 2055.

We will teach you Politics once again as we have always done. Watch as Tinubu hands over to the North Central in person of a Yoruba man from Kwara or Kogi. That’s when you will learn the hard way
