Yinkeys, you seem to be good at dropping really dysfunctional takes these days. No offence. I mean, who are we kidding?

The foreign pros will destroy the CHAN team. Total mismatch.

yinkeys:
Take out Chrisantus Uche & Victor Osimhen
Let’s have a friendly match between Super Eagles & CHAN eagles.
I don’t see Super Eagles convincingly getting the W against CHAN eagles
CHAN eagles would’ve gotten the W against Zimbabwe at Uyo undecided

Laughable take, names don’t play football
Your disted Eagles cannot beat Lesotho,
You think they’d white wash the CHAN eagles on Nigerian turf
Like I said take out Osimhen & Uche
Laughable
You are not realistic, you don’t even take into consideration acclimatization & other factors

Ladies and Gentlemen, in the light of the Osimhen summer transfer uncertainty, I will come out now and say this...

I personally dont want Osimhen in Saudi Arabia in his prime years. It would be the worst footballing advice to follow but at the same time, it would be the best financially, to follow.

I personally believe Victor can go to Saudi PL in his 30s (say from 32 or 33) and make all the money in the world after further cementing his legacy in Europe's Big 5 leagues in the Prime period of his career. He is 26 and will be 27 by december this year.

But again, if no top 5 league club wants to pay the Monster Machine what he is worth, then who am I to blame whatever decision he makes from a financial point of view?

The saudis are ready to offer crazy money that no team in Europe can match. But Victor isnt even asking for or demanding same from the Euro teams. He is only asking to be paid what his last salary at Napoli was. It is not greed. It is business and self awareness of the highest value.

You dont leave italy (a lesser paying league) to England (highest paying league in Europe) IN YOUR PRIME YEARS and expect to cut down on your wages. Nooooo... there should naturally be an increase.

Also, you dont move from Napoli to one of the Elite Top 5 euros sides and expect not to get a bump up in your weekly wages.

So please... if a move to any of the top 5 elite sides fails this summer and he lands in Saudi Arabia on OF THEM IN EUROPE NOT EVEN MATCHING HIS LAST SALARY AT NAPOLI... i will mourn his european exit but I wont blame him because it is unreasonable on their part.

See how much Florian Wirtz is being offered. Smh.

End of the summer, we know for sure where Vic will end up.

All your talk is mere sentiments and staging the CHAN as David against the Foreign pros as Goliath. In this scenario, Goliath wins.

No local player in the NPFL (excluding returnees) is as exposed to the high end training these guys get in Europe. The gap in class, quality, physical conditioning and fitness levels between The foreign Pros and the local lads is so so big.

What is the level and quality of clubs' fitness centers in Nigeria?

Talk is cheap, I’m objective
Yea Zimbabwe & Lesotho were the litmus tests
I really wish NFF can setup this friendly
Would be fantastic at Uyo
CHAN eagles vs Super Eagles
Both disted teams but climate definitely favours one side
Football is done on the pitch not on paper
South Africans & Moroccans probably know this better than most Nigerian football fans
TheSuperNerd(m): 5:50pm On May 24
You are not objective sadly.

The CHAN eagles only recently qualified for the CHAN but have been struggling for years to do so. Also, on the Continent, our local clubs dont do so good anymore. In the past 3 seasons or more, have they even reached the quarters of the CAF Champions League? Or semis maybe.

The Super Eagles filled with foreign pros got to the final of the Afcon last year. The best players in that campaign were foreign pros and even Nwabali is not based in Nigeria.

So rest it. It is your talk that is cheap.

And answer this simple question.

What is the level and quality of clubs' fitness centers in Nigeria?

PS: The Moroccans you mention also depend on Foreign Pros even at U17 level.

All it takes is one world class season at a big club and your contract will be renegotiated to a larger contract or you will have the luxury of leaving to a bigger club. Footballing wise, Saudi Arabia is the worst possible decision. I have yet to see any player that was at his prime and signed for a saudi club returned back to a major European club and was still at his prime. Osimhen is Africa best striker since the likes of drogba and etoo. Even if you don’t want to do England, PSG and Juventus are a better option

@TheSupernerd,

If Juventus or PSG are willing to meet his release clause,he can freely either of the two teams.

I totally disagree with those saying that Osimhen should reduce his wages because he wants to play in the premier league not forgetting the high taxes in the UK.
Osimhen has proven himself everywhere he went. He did it during his U17 days, in Belgium,in ,In Italy and now in Turkey.

If Chelsea,Man UTd or Arsenal are unwilling to meet up with his demands. Let him go to Saudi Arabia.

We have seen players with lesser quality commanding high wages in the premier league. Have they done half of what he has achieved in football?
Must Victor Osimhen play in the Premier League?
Going to the Camel's league will not diminish his qualities.

He knows his self worth.
Let him do as he pleases.

Yes, it would. He would be ed as a one season wonder if he transfers to turkey. Right now, he only has one major trophy at his disposal “Seria A” and he needs more major trophies to be the 🐐. Turkey league title isn’t a major trophy unfortunately

He did that already at Napoli, the labourer is worthy of his wages. If he goes to Saudi Arabia, will that be his fault alone? He's got family looking up to him, and he won't play football forever; he can't be earning less at his prime now, that would be slavery.

Football is also unpredictable. If he accepts a pay cut now and gets injured, it's the likes of you that will come back here to hit at the player again for not being wise when his value begins to drop, so rest and let the player maximise his earnings for future sake.

I agree with the Juventus move if they are truly serious. I have read about their intended offer of 85Million to Napoli. Personal havent been revealed exactly.

Osimhen owes no explanations anymore to Napoli after the last saga. The fans of Naples can love him or hate him but Victor needs to go where he will be appreciated football wise as well as financial-wise.

And yes, PSG too. If they come for him and meet every metric on a club and personal level, Osimhen should .

Time will tell.

If bridges can be mended. I'd wish Victor goes back to Napoli.

The value he has and wears was as a relationship between him and the club.

Emotions aside, Napoli are Seria A Champions. A testament that they can do it "AGAIN" without him.

Here is the jerk, I don't think Lukaku has the lungs of Osimhen. Infact Lukaku is an average backup. If Napoli have any serious ambition next season they better turn to the guy who first made it happen for them in the person of Victor Osimhen

ADL knows better.

To top it up,... All the top strikers of the top EPL teams apart from Salah are all misfiring

These are guys more expensive than Victor Osimehn and are currently on wages higher or equals to Osimehn demands

All I see here is Bias and Sentiments

On a personal level, Osimehn has Achieved a lot

He shouldn't need EPL to tell him otherwise

How much is £12,000,000 per year exactly that is the problem for EPL teams here?
