Op since every region has endorsed Tinubu, all governors have endorsed Tinubu, all LG chairmen have endised him.
Even Reno and FFK tgat cannot win Local Councillorship elections have endorsed him,
why not rest as he has already won 2027 elections?

If Sule Lamido, Kwankwaso, Bala Mohammed, Shekarau have their eyes in 2031, with the way Tinubu is going, if they don't stop him, he can pick Nuhu Ribadu and make him president without a fair contest.

They cannot be naive to know that for every year Tinubu stays in power, he is capturing Nigeria like he captured Lagos
check tinubu history n u will know he rewards loyalty, check people who have worked with him or ed him before n u will see they are well compensated so those ones know him too well n they won't panic

You're reechoing what I said but still arguing. How many of them can be made president at the same time? A discerning mind will know that Tinubu's natural pick will be Ribadu. Where does that leave Kwankwaso, Bala Mohammed, Shekarau?

Obi will be the presidential candidate of the coalition and this is non-negotiable

Lol. We will see about that. Same coward that fled PDP, out of morbid fear of Fulani born-to-rule imperialists in Atiku etal, is now to uncompromisingly demand he must be made candidate of the opposition coalition?

Bro, actions have consequences. Tinubu stood his ground, and sagacious Yorubas stood with him, to become APC 2023 candidate.

Contrast with the fortunes of your people. Obi fled PDP and many Igbo PDP leaders hid their faces rather than fight for the non-negotiable right of Igbo to produce the 2023 Presidential candidate of the Party despit the Yorubas, Middle Belt and SS being firmly behind your people to do so.

Kalu, in APC, misquidedly, and as a slave of the North would behave, swing behind Lawan to be the Party's 2023 candidate instead of bravely and uncompromisingly backing a Southerner.

So many behaviour of Igbo leaders before the 2023 elections that was optically terrible in a political context and only resonated the message, again, that Igbos lack political integrity and can be brushed aside to settle for second place with no consequence.

Good luck making Obi the candidate of the coalition when those who will be most powerful in it are Northerners seeking to wrestle power from Tinubu because he is using it independently and has not allowed North , as they are used to doing, hijack federal power for deployment as slush fund for the elites of the region.

Perception matters a lot in politics and Igbos, because of their own actions, are now politicially percieved as a people about noise alone that the worst can be done to and they will just sempe for corner quietly. As Obi did when he fled PDP.

I'm not here for this irrelevances you're putting forward. All these happened before Obi proved he has over 6 million organic followers within 9 months and now everybody knows what he is capable of.

If the coalition does not make him the presidential candidate, they can as well kiss 2027 goodbye

u are talking and if it's only president that one can b compensated with

Akpabio n wike, were they made president?
Ganduje n co, were they made president?

One thing u don't understand is that once everyone is well compensated then it's good to go.

They can b given ministerial slots, ambassadors, contractors, head of agencies, strong post in oil sectors, allocation of oil well n co.

So can u see your postulation doesn't work

Lol. Typical. Tell them what they don't wish to hear and they throw tantrums.

The coward Obi, with only cowardly politicians and leaders as his kinsmen, will take what he is given which will be VP position to Atiku or El Rufai at most.

So Kwankwaso's ambition is to be minister that he was over 15yrs ago. Anyways, Obi-ElRufai or Obi-Kwakwanso or any vp the coalition pick is fine but Obi as the presidential candidate is non-negotiable

Why are you so much in a rush, wait till after the election before you make your judgement. Most of these decampment are false hope, you will see the voting pattern at the end of the day. The decampment is widely aggravated by fear of being investigated/witch-hunt, protection of their seat of power, and most importantly the increased FAAC allocation to States/Constituency allocations. Though it is just simple opinion or POV.

I might be wrong too
DMerciful(m): 1:52pm On May 24
Obi, vp to El Rufai? Now I know you're wasting my time

Lol. I love winding that guy up too. He does not seem toxic as some of his brothers but he is easily one of thr most emotional Nairalander ever.

No humour, no wit, no appreciation for satire and very sentimental. This is why he comes out with ludicrous statements others will have fun mocking.

Imagine declaring it is "non-negotiable" that Obi must be candidate of opposition coalition?

If such does not happen, who will 'shalaye' for them? Kalu? Otti? Abi Soludo and may others who detest Obi and are firmly behind Tinubu?

Or even their ordinary folks who are millions in the land of others with their existence dependent on the mercies of other Nigerians totally?

They are same people who watched as Obi and others where literally flogged away, with Fulani koboko, from the PDP 2023 Presidential ticket we all know the ethnic group thoroughly deserved for decades-long loyal service to the PDP yet they did not say even pim as a people.

Instead same people are today behind the politician who bounced their dream I.e Atiku. Is that not thr behaviour of slaves? We must then ask the obvious question I.e who has ever had regard for those they know are their conquered servants or slaves?

How, after all that has transpired, can a sane person be bragging over Obi as if optics and perception, in relation to the political cowardice and weakness of Igbos, does not matter?

I predicted early this year that the NC and Christian north will realign with Tinubu .

I also predicted of the SS giving their to Tinubu and how a faction of the PDP will eventually endorse Tinubu as well.

The only one yet to become obvious is the indigenous Hausa population in the NW and other northern minorities endorsing Tinubu n what I detailed was as result of the simmering rift against Fulani hegemony

Any coalition between the Fulani and the SE will be an excerscise in futility. And we can thank Buhaei for totally destroying the Fulani franchise in the north by handling Fulani bandits abf terrorists alike with kids gloves.

Completely incoherent logic. The only reason politicians are decamping is because the government is orchestrating crisis and instability in opposition parties while at the same time using all manner of inducements to attract opposition politicians into its fold. In actual fact, this is the laziest type of politics a party could possibly engage in. All you’re doing is just making everyone you because you’re not confident enough to fight it out with a robust opposition. In the process, you’re damaging the democratization process due to extremely short term thinking. The government of the day does not enjoy mass in any part of the country outside the south west. There is still a massive cost of living crisis and Tinubu has not been able to conclusively fix any of the problems he inherited, not a single one. Just because politicians are moving does not indicate a mass . Politicians are moving because they’re not sure their parties will give them stability and litigation free tickets.

Bruv, forget all this your noise. Tell me, if you really know Nigerian politics, whether Northerners have regard for Obi or not.

That is the koko of the matter because the North only need one of two outcome in 2027.

(1) A return of power directly to the North into the hands of a Northerner or (2) the 'lending' of power to a Southern coward and weakling who will keep the seat warm for them, not rock the boat and do their bidding till a Northerner takes over substantively.

Obi, globally accepted a weakling and coward by his own damaging history of displaying those qualities, is only fit for option 2 to Northerners.

Option 1 is the preferred and most desirable. Atiku, had Yorubas not stopped him, has proven option 1 could have even happened in 2023 and Igbos would have said or done zilch.

After such assurance, what stops the North going for same option in 2027 when they know it is their conquered slave alone they need to contend with in an opposition coalition?
