Good morning everyone. Is it compulsory to a bank statement that's upto 28 days on the CAS shield portal with the required amount in my ? As that is the only delay for the documents on my CAS shield portal. It's just 15 days now since I transferred the funds to my personal .

Morning guys, my cousin got an unconditional offer for MRes Clinical Research at Tesside University.

I have read here that some Mres courses don't allow dependant still. So, I called the school to confirm if the MRes course would allow dependant, but the lady that spoke to me said no (she sounded unsure).

I asked her to give me list of their courses that allow dependants, and she listed PhD and DBA courses only, no Mres.

I would like to know if anyone also applied to the school (not necessarily the same course) or if there's any MRes program someone with a Biomedical degree can do in any school that allows dependants.

I think bank statement comes when applying for visa proper, after CAS. CAS is the prerogative of the school offering ission and it's issued after fulfilling their requirement, such as payment of the initial deposit. Their own temporarily stops at that point while they push the rest of the money matters to the UK immigration office. In my opinion, bank statement for 28 days starts immediately after the issuance of CAS, in readiness for visa application. I stand to be corrected by learned nairalanders.

Please, I need to pick the brains of some of the gurus here. I heard about the Oxford International Professional Diploma in Adult Care from an agent, and she is marketing the program as something that can get you a COS from the host organizations. On the Oxford website, they mentioned the program levels you up with the skills that could land you a COS, but they are not taking responsibility for providing you a COS after the program. Does anyone know about this pathway or is willing to share any insight? Is it worth giving it a shot? I'm looking out this opportunity for my sister, but she has HND, which makes her options very limited.

More context: The program costs £14,995, and 100% payment is required upon enrollment. It's categorized as A-level. You cannot work during the program, either.

I think it's best you go with what works best based on people's reviews rather that looking at the rate just to avoid stories

Mres in biomedical science is Keele university but you will eventually have to do an Interview with them and you will need a research proposal too
But the good thing there is discount of 3500 out of 17k tuition
Deposit is then half of tuition
