With the good thing I have been reading here it seems I will port from gtmf to Norrenberger
|
emmasoft(m): 11:55am On May 23 |
Benagro: It's not a bad idea. You will be sure to get excellent service and a good rate. Find the opening form for Norrenberger MMF attached. You can also chat with me if you need details.

Hello Emma, do I need a domiciliary for dollar fund investment in blunest or norrenberger?
|
emmasoft(m): 9:44pm On May 23 |
nickae: Yes, a domiciliary is needed. You need it when you want to make partial or full redemption of your funds and for your interest payment in case you didn't pick reinvestment of interest. |
nickae: 9:51pm On May 23 |
emmasoft: Thanks for clarification, but the domiciliary can be with any other bank not necessarily Stanbic IBTC? Also the pdf form you posted for norrenberger, can the registration not be done online? Am currently in a location without a printer. |
freeman67: 9:55pm On May 23 |
nickae: You can fill the form with Adobe pdf app. If you have it on your phone just open the document with it and select fill and sign. |
Preator: 11:19pm On May 23 |
nickae:If you are using stanbic ibtc, it is better to open the dom with Standard chartered bank else you will incur significant charges |
emmasoft(m): 12:19am On May 24 |
nickae: Yes, you can do as @freeman67 said if you wish to fill the form without printing. The dom can be in any bank. Please note the advice of @Preator because of the charges. For Norrenberger, their dollar collection is with Stanbic Bank, and you can actually walk into the banking hall and deposit your dollar cash. For another method that will not require printing, you can chat with me. My number is on my signature. |

emmasoft: Thanks @freeman67 @Preator @emmasoft, I will fill the form without printing. Do I send to you @emmasoft? Lastly, if I make an investment in mutual funds for 1million in BluNest with 20% interest, do it mean I'll be getting 20% of 1million / 12 months, (200,000/12) which is about 16k monthly? |
Preator: 2:05pm On May 24 |
nickae: Yes, if interest rate stays same for the 12 months. In all likelihood it wont. It will go up and down. The daily interest rate determines what you get. If it goes higher, you get more, if lower you get less. Ceteris paribus, you get 1m if average interest for the 12 months is 20%. Unlike treasury bills anc commercial papers, the interest rate on the date you made. The investment does not determine what you will get for the investment period. |
nickae: 2:23pm On May 24 |
Preator: Thanks @Preator, I'll start the process in June. |
emmasoft(m): 3:20pm On May 24 |
nickae: You can send the completed form to me. 1 Like |

Neurotika:I don't know if you've sorted this but 25m is the daily max for transfer on stanbic app. Just go to their branch and ask customer service for an increase to 25m. |

Good day folks..please I am looking for the following with any of the major banks: - A USD investment with at least 10% interest, capital guaranteed and both capital and interest can be taken out in USD and NOT Naira. The investment potfolio should be with a major bank ered with CBN e.g IBTC. Please let me know if there are options out there. |

Good morning. I observed that throughout last week, the interest on Optimus APF mutual fund was nil/very low. Please did anyone experience this
|
Batman2412(m): 1:52pm On May 26 |
Disciple1234:Yes, same experience with Ucap. It's like whenever 'cardi b' announces that naira is stabilized, banks are fortified and inflation is reduced, all fund managers drop mmf rate by 2%. No be say naira stabilize nor inflation reduce for real life oh |

Please house, I am a newbie in mutual fund with stanbic. Please what is their rate for the mutual fund? Will I be paid monthly? How can I go about it given that I only have gtb.
|
emmasoft(m): 3:22pm On May 26 |
Deluxe8000: The bank you operate doesn't matter. You can open a stanbic MMF right away. Click the first link on my signature and click on Buy Now to complete the online form, You need a port photo, govt. issued ID card and a utility bill that bears your name. You can use your NIN slip in place of a utility bill that bears your name. Currently, the rate is 20.39% Interest is reinvested monthly but paid quarterly. You can chat with me if you need further guidance. |

Ex0rrcist: I know…I requested for the increase in their branch months ago and it wasn’t treated…till now. Citing system glitch and all. I’ve moved on anyway. |

Stanbic seems to be playing me, I transferred funds to my money market around 8.45 am on Friday, i sent them email twice but no acknowledgement then I called about the transfer which they told me funds will be credited before the end of that Friday but nothing was done, fast forward to Monday then I have to call them twice before funds later reflects on my in the evening but to my surprise no interest is added from that Friday and even for Monday, is this normal with stanbic?, because FBNQuest don't act this way.

Larash: 9:40pm On May 26 |
Foodempire:check back around 2am to 3am or wait till Tuesday morning your interest will be added. Normal time to check for your interest is midnight for Stanbic oo 1 Like |

Larash: I just checked and they only added one day interest which i believe it's for Monday. They are not transparent enough for me. |
FRANKLYex: 11:38am On May 27 |
Yes, the transparency with STANBIC is not good enough. That is one thing I'm enjoying with ARM. Transparency and consistency. STANBIC seem so be too irregular in the transactions handling. Almost every time I top up, I have to follow up with an mail before it reflect. That is not too good Foodempire: 1 Like |

FRANKLYex: Lol, aside from their relatively poor returns, they’re still the most reliable. All interest will definitely be paid before the end of the month. Other MMFs don’t even allow you track your investment growth daily. I’ve been trying to open an with ARM for almost two weeks now and still haven’t received an number. Went ahead to use their WhatsApp customer line to complain, nothing proactive was done other than give me a fresh form to fill. Even norrenberger still shows my KYC as pending on their portal, despite submitting all the required documents via their onboarding platform, as instructed by an insider. Interface looking so basic. If we’re being honest, all of them have their shortcomings. I’m not here to market/de-market anyone, just saying it as it is. You just have to pick your “poison”…. |
onlyforchrist: 8:57pm On May 27 |
You better stick with Stanbic, Access bank have acquired Arm, their service is shity now, don’t even try it, you will cry. Neurotika: |
Neurotika: 9:35pm On May 27 |
onlyforchrist: I believe it was their pension division that Access acquired and frankly, it was mediocre at best. They were my PFA for over a decade. Even after offloading that unit, their investment division still feels underwhelming. Some things just don’t change… |
onlyforchrist: 10:04pm On May 27 |
Didn’t know they have investment division, will check that out, thank you. To be honest anything access touch dies. Neurotika: |
