That's not the way it works abroad, at least in UK. That's discrimination and he, the interviewer could lose his job for asking such a question. If someone has Nigerian looking names, you can't still use it to identify them. By saying "those Nigerians", the interviewer has picked up on a group of people, even if his suspicion may be true and discriminatd against them. It doesn't look like he went through any HR training, Human Resources and Human Rights. That question alone has violated UK employment law. The interviewee can sue the company and win. There are jobs where an internal candidate has been chosen but they put the advert out there to waste the time of over 20 other people so as to met legal or company requirements. I tell you this, Planning to do your career amongst other people in an organisation subjected to interviews and office politics is like planning to eat all your future meals in a dirty public toilet, as opposed to eating in your own dining table at home.

When the world becomes as immoral as it is now, who is going to tell you when its no longer safe to engage your delicate mind in a filthy very filthy cooperate world.

The people who decided the materialistic world needs to forever go into depths darkness , also took away the right to partake in much of public activity without getting a very raw deal.

The level of fulfilment you will get from working in an environment that you control is so great that it out weights almost anything anybody can pay you in their cooperate.

Find a job you can do from home, and at anytime of the day or night , we are in Armageddon now , you dont even know who is still human being that you are subjecting your mind to them in interview, some people just do interview to vampire your mind for their pleasure. But the office politics will make anything you experience at interview a warning that you missed.

The world is now too evil, and peoples minds and souls too corrupted to trust to do anything with people unless its from a distance , via some commutation channel you can switch off when they start spitting evil.

While those who run the world are taking society further and further into the depths of darkness, dont make the mistake of assuming that this has no cost in of what you and cannot do with people.

Please i beg you, fix your accommodation to something very cheap , be brave enough to move back into your parents house, backyard or a remote place, so that your accommodation can be cheap enough for you to work from a place that is relativity safe from all the demonic activity in cooperate.

When the world condones evil this much, there is nothing no where that people come together to do stuff that is not compromised.

I won't say much. Just that wherever in this world, it's not everyone who uses the law as they would. However ignorance is no excuse under the law. It's this ignorance immigrants use to take advantage of each other abroad and it's this knowledge immigrants use to punish themselves too. Indians could report to the police when they have spousal problems but some of them choose not to, Nigerians may use it, some won't.

This happened to me in the early days of my career. I went through 3 stages of interview. When I got to the fourth stage, which happened to be the final stage, I was to speak to the Director, which means he decides if to hire me or not. It was a Senior Level role. Unfortunately, the Director is from the part of Nigeria known for treachery and backstabbing. He was acting all mean and tough. He asked me very basic questions and I thought I have landed the job. Unfortunately, he made the decision for them not to hire me. This is a fortune 100 company I’m talking about.
