Top 2 wey we no even compete. City us with 19 and 12 points those seasons. A disgraceful second position.

League finishes from 2016 till last year: 5, 6, 2, 6, 3, 2, 6, 3, 8.

We have been progressively bad as a result of bad decisions over the years. So if you think bringing a new coach will change our story, I feel sorry for you.

Maybe we should call Ole back since you want to go back to those times.

So if you could go back in time, you would have retained Ole and maybe Moyes?

I don't even get the point you are trying to make. How exactly is numerous top 2 and top 4 finishes the same as sitting in 16th position?

We need to stop running Man Utd as a Christian Mission.
When the time came for Glazers to go finally , a Qatari owner who is a Man utd fan came. That was our biggest opportunity, we let racist and xenophobic English and White supremacist top reds to ask for the stingy, broke and incompetent Radcliffe. Look at how he has left the club now.

Greenwood was involved in a case with his girlfriend, they later resolved their differences and even had a child, virtue signaling united fans never gave him a chance, they hounded him out. Look at greenwood now.

We will regret these crucial mistakes.
Partey had almost this same issues, yet Arsenal swept it under the carpet and carried on. But our own we are defenders of the universe

That Qatari guy is an audio billionaire.

Before ETH, Ole finished 2nd and remains the only manager to have consecutive top 4 finishes. Before him was Mourinho, who performed even better, I’d say.

Hindsight is 2020, but the fact remains:

Man United’s continuous drop over the years whilst firing managers is evidence enough that the problem is not managers alone.

The club needs to create the right atmosphere for anyone coming in, players included. Let them do their job and give them the best equipments and atmosphere to do it.
The truth is we have not been lucky with manager appointments. We need to keep having a go at it until we get there. A manager sets the tone/system for success. Forget all these structure stuff. Very few clubs in one or two leagues can do the whole structure thing and get away with it. The right manager will fix thee issues.

Inflexibility is killing Amorim. Even Conte the 3-4-3 merchant switched his formations during games to avoid disaster performances. These baby coaches and their stubbornness.

Ehn na

From what you are saying, our inability to win anything tangible had nothing to do with the managers incharge abi?

I fear Amorim won't survive this summer despite being the man for the job. He just need time and some new gs Anytime a coach has finished below top 4 or going to miss out the Glazers have pulled the trigger. Moyes, Van gaal, Mourinho, Ole etc Erik Fa cup win bought him some grace from being sacked which Amorim Europa would have done had we won.

Who is talking about bringing any coach back? Finishing top 2 and 4 is heaven compared to the position we currently sit on the log unless you would rather be in 16th than 10points behind Liverpool in 2nd.

Amorim that is last on the log (if the EPL started the week Amorim took over). Which suggests that our squad is worse than those of the relegated clubs. Forget the lucky Europa run. That guy is clueless.

If you say we have been sacking managers yet no improvement and we should probably "change focus" ;

1.Does it mean the previous managers were never the problem?

2. If answer to (1) above is yes, would you rather we retained them Moyes and co and face the "real issues" if you could go back in time?

Even an ok manager would have you in the top 6 at worst. A bad manager would have you in 16th.

Abegi miss me with the yarns. We've not competed for the league in 12 years now. Since Ferguson left, it's been rubbish.

The problem is bigger than whether a coach is sacked or not.

To you guys, it's all about sacking but not concerned about the transition process. Madrid has a new coach coming and they've already set players that will help him.

See ehn. In all of these, I'll still blame Amorim. He's an ode. He shouldn't have accepted to come at that time. What was the transition process put him place for him. Just come and do your thing.

He'll probably get sacked now and have his CV scarred.

Did you actually read and understand the initial post you quoted? Maybe next time read more than the first 3 words before jumping in.

Bombblacks:

None of our previous managers finished in 16th, none of our previous managers had 12losses in 25league games, none of our previous managers finished below 8th even with lesser players.

Our previous managers were finishing top 2 and even top 4 which was the bare minimum. This is our worst league finish in 50years.
Keep on ignoring the problem staring at your face.

AWB, McTom and other players we wanted to kill including Mkhi and Darmian who are in the UCL final, are doing very well for themselves. Even our loanees. Not like the player recruitments have been perfect, but let’s be honest with ourselves, the players are not as bad. We just need the right manager.

I don't even understand the logic of the argument they're making. If 2nd place wasn't good enough according to them, how are they now defending 16th maybe 17th place?

The quality of the team has been dropping every year until last year where we had a good transfer window with the purchase of Maz, Delight, Yoro, and Heaven. I'm not convinced on Ugarte yet but he could still come good. Our major problem is our inability to score goals which is affecting the other areas of the team. We need at least 2-3 immediate starters there. Then midfield and WB can do with some new additions.
