Very good
I don't know how people feel defacing and littering their environment. I hope they also start arresting those useless things who openly defecate on the streets, into the gutters and co. Arrest them all

Instead of the government trying to tribalize the complaints that Lagos smells, why don't they take it as a call to action to clean up the state massively. That's how to positively respond to criticism

They should also make it much easier for people to easily dispose their waste properly. In a lot of places, lawma only come around once a week. That's can't be enough at all

why remand him in prison, he didn't commit constitutional offense, the way people abuse power is alarming, they could have just subjected him to pay huge fine or give him community service for months.....

this is pure nonsense and abuse of power.

Little by little, we will get there. There should be no option of fine to serve as deterrence to us all

I believe by the time judiciary starts to give sound judgement to common man, the time will come when citizens will also demand for such on government officials and highly placed citizens.

I this. But again, Let's ask the most pertinent questions;

What measures have LASG put in place to ensure proper waste disposal in Lagos?

This man drove with the waste in his SUV all the way.....which means there was probably no place to dispose the waste properly around him.

Both the LASG and the man arrested are culpable. What is Lagos doing with all its taxes and IGR? A cosmopolitan city without adequate waste disposal strategies?

People who called Lagos a dirty ciTy were not wrong after all

I wonder how people build houses without proper waste management plan.

Let him enjoy the next one month in Kirikiri, when he comes out, he'll become a change agent

People nowadays turn bridges into dumping spot..

One bridge is closer to my street and they’ve littered the side that you’ll have to be careful when walking on it cuz you’re almost walking on the busy road itself
