Tottenham won this Europa league then UEFA cup in 1984 beating Anderlecht, that's 41 years ago.

They were even the first club to win this competition when it was launched in 1972 beating fellow English side, Wolves.

And the last time they won a trophy was 17 years ago, in 2008 when they defeated Chelsea to lift the Carling Cup
