So that you will use strike to fustrate them. These things are not hard. Just make the country attractive to the citizens first. Then others will want to come and have a taste of it.

helinues:We definitely have a long way to go but in a society where government is all talks and no action this is the result you get. Let them start by employing foreign lecturers and improving the welfare of the local lecturers as well as total overhaul of the facilities and activities of state and federal universities. |

tollyboy5: What you mentioned is a factor, but it's not a major problem. There are US universities that not recognised by any global ranking institutions, but foreigners would rather study in such American universities than choose ranked Nigerian universities. Believe it or not, most self-funded international students study abroad to explore foreign opportunities. |

Mindlog: I wonder o, maybe they should "source" them using bandits to kidnap them from Nigeria, Chad and Benin then force their relatives to pay "Education Ransom", and release them after graduation. Meanwhile, Naija youths wey dey jápa go UK and Canada were not "sourced" by the universities they ran to, o......they willingly paid thousands of Dollars to escape this country. |

Femi GbajabiamiJOKER, Can you hear yourself talk. If you're a foreign father, will you allow your child come to Nigeria for undergraduate or post graduate studies with the level of insecurity, poor infrastructure (no light, no pipe borne water) etc ![]() ![]() |

Ordinarily, this should have been the case, but due to poor economic growth, insecurity, low standards of most public universities, wayo ission processes etc., we can't compete with the likes of South Africa and Kenya.

SmartPolician:Are the universities themselves attractive in of structure, accommodation, lecture halls which are far below a safe and healthy standard |
FreeStuffsNG: 11:17am On May 21 |
Osiris12:Smh. You're ignorant. It was FG that didn’t encourage it and as a matter of fact, barred universities from having satellite campuses to ensure that they can have a closer oversight. Foreign students are in UNILAG at the moment. My advice to you is to attend top universities and you will not be ignorant of what takes place in prestigious universities. |
Atlantis585: 11:28am On May 21 |
Source foreign students to learn from which Nigerian schools? The ones with bad teachers and bad academic standards or which one? Fix your education system first before talking about that. Useless government and politicians with no commonsense. |
onuman: 11:30am On May 21 |
Mindlog: Gbajamilla knows he merely wanted to be heard. Afterall, he knows that only a crazy foreign student would come to Nigeria in the face of the exploits by Jihadi Boko/Fulani herdsmen/ISWAP. |
