9.
In retrospect I am forever grateful to my parents and siblings for their bible training, strict discipline and protection. One thing I am glad about now is that I never had any childhood truma or anything to regret even though were poor then. Thank Jehovah for life now.

8/10. Parents were not rich, not even middle class but we had freedom to roam about, play football, went swimming, slept at each other's houses on a rotating basis without our parents worrying themselves

My childhood was a 10. I really really miss Jos.. cry

All we had to worry about was playing monkey post on the streets, watch movies on cassette and talk about it for days, rush home after school to watch 4pm cartoons.

Life was good then.

Horrible!
It instilled this fear of lack and poverty in me till date.
I grew up to know my father was ill with diabetes when I was as little as 5 years old, and he was home without been able to generate money to take care of the family, we had to move back from the city to the village where I attended nursery, and primary sch.
I was made to hawk all kinds of things to mom before and after going to school from Monday to Friday, then on Saturday we go to farm and village river to fetch water. All this I did while I was less than 10 years old. I can't say everytin but it was horrible. Not the best way to raise a child at all. But through it all, I survived! Im a director in a large organization today at 35! at 26 I built my first house in abuja, at 33 I started building my second house in Benin city, married with a 5 year old strong and handsome boy. I suffer no be small abeg 1/10

From Ball to bicycle, to latest films back then, na me dey run am. Thats the reason I'm scared of marriage. I fear I might not give my kids half, the enjoyment my dad gave us. Chai

Well as for me I'll rate mine 5/10.my parents are very strict and sometimes I only have time to play with friends when am on an errand ,I've a lot of friends tho but we only talk in school its pains me when I see my mates playing and I'm just watching them from the window but I don't wanna disobey my parents at some point I think them being strict really helps me cause I would have been victim of rape if not for my mom that was suspicious.

As for music,I don't listen to them but if it's animation or action movies I'm always there (foreign movies tho)

So...my childhood wasn't that fascinating -sighs- I envy some of you that have a wonderful childhood days and I sympathize those that doesn't! 😊

Ah! My own is in the minus (-) category o!

It was so terrible, I was a prisoner and house help all rolled up in one.

I was kept in a dark windowless room with discarded things. Not allowed to speak to anyone outside the house.

Not even to look at anyone, so my eyes were constantly on the ground.

It's so very bad I can hardly my neighbours or even people I went to school with. It's of recent that their memory is beginning to stroll in.

I avoided everyone and everyone avoided me. Even my so called siblings were banned from speaking with me.

I used to wish for death because I no understand the kind life wey I bin come.

So when I my childhood, ah it's a very terrible one abeg!

My question is why all these tortures?

At pedrilo: can you see this and compare with your childhood?
