psucc: Add up all your load in watts Then divide 1300wh (1.3kwh) with it to get the backup hours. Eg if your total load is like Tv = 55w , decoder = 20w, bulbs 60w and fans (I don't know type so I'd assume 60w for one) Total load = 55+20+60+60 = 195w Total time of backup = 1300/ 195 = 6.6 hours. So we will be looking at approximately 6 hours or thereabouts with such load. |

Thanks for the response. You've only responded to the 2nd part though. Please do same to the first para and state the cost of every every 6hours is enough for all man to go to sleep jare. mctfopt: |

Dam5reey1: This Haisic doesn't have a display at all fa? How would you check cell voltages on it? |

The only con, they should have substituted that for a smart BMS. HeavenlyBang: 1 Like |

HeavenlyBang: Same with me. Especially when someone can do same capacity with smart bms and Grade A CELLS for 840K |

Dam5reey1: Asides cell voltage , it is just helpful in knowing what is going on in the pack. You know your charge currrent, voltage, etc. I think every it just makes life easy sha. 3 Likes |

fuckboys: I still do not understand the reason for this max VOc for 12v and 24v on this powmr cc .My understanding is that once you exceed that max VOc the controller will get bad somehow but with 4 420w s in series on a 12v set up that is meant to have max voc of about 80v, its still confusing. Do you ever exceed 800wats ever. Make e nor be say the other s are just wasting and the charge controller is limiting pv watts input to the maximum allowable for the 12v system (720w) |

HeavenlyBang: That is why the pack is Cheap. If your battery is Full capacity you will understand the usage pattern in no time. Only few of us even understand what cell, SOC mean. Even the percentage on our phones not sure we pay that much attention |

HeavenlyBang:Chief. Update on the li-ion battery for rechargeable fan. The battery arrived, 11.1v, connected directly and charging with normal AC charger. Everything is working fine and the speed is very Ok at speed 1. Lasts about 5hrs:30 minutes. The charging indicator works fine and when battery is full it stops charging and shows green. I doubt this can work for you as yours is 15v by default right? Mine is 12v. 2 Likes |

Dam5reey1: Is it realy that cheap?Considering it is Grade B cells and one can get equivalent capacity of Grade A cell at almost same price. |

fuckboys:Okay, you changed inverter right ? Bread ?? |
fuckboys: 3:46pm On May 19 |
omotoda:the max voc of 80v on the powmr cc is for 12v system, it s 24 and 48v systems also which also has different max voc. Please refer to your manual for this. I switched to hybrid inverter because of exactly this limitation on the powmr cc, it couldn't handle my 4 s on 12v system. |

dollarnaira: ![]() ![]() But at least make person fit dey see wetin dey go on. It's one of the big advantages LFP is supposed to have over tubular after all. Dam5reey1: Valid but then a smart BMS is max an extra 40-50k in price. Good trade-off for most people surely? Las las it's a good buy for those who don't care much about monitoring ultimately. They can just rely on inverter voltage reading for SOC. |
HeavenlyBang(m): 3:58pm On May 19 |
CuteMaro:Oh nice. Please send a picture of the setup. |
jmaine: 3:58pm On May 19 |
Dam5reey1: Maybe for those who extremely oversized their system, so nothing to be worried about.. But if you on a moderate one with family who care less about energy conservation , Na to dey check am steady.... Especially for those with inverter without battery voltage indication.. |
