100% lies. Which country will allow you bring in goods that will interfere with the ones in their markets? They will be sizes at the airport if he landed with them. If he intended to ship them in, did he get an import licence? If he got a licence and paid all the import duties on the goods, there's no way he can sell it cheaper than market value. You think it's easy to take a mega cooperation to court? Those that successfully did had solid cases and the funds to follow through. The story is pure fiction

No it is not fiction. Do a Google search to assist your life span.

I have no issues with the price. Quality is the keyword. Call a bottle of coke, a bottle of coke. Refreshing, nourishing and nutritious. I am sure it's not a poison and approved by the counties standard Food association. You know what I mean.

Cost of manufacturing is different. On quality, the Nigerian coke is probably healthier. It’s same concentration anywhere in the world but the water and sweetener varies. In Nigeria, it’s cane sugar while in N.America it’s the far more dangerous and addictive high fructose corn syrup. The former is a better evil

bottom line avoid both.

I entered a mall in Toronto to.buy coke and the amount will amaze you. Two dollar and forty nine cent ($2.49).

Using the price of 50cl Coke in Canada versus Nigerian which is about Four Hundred naira (N400), I am suspecting that the ingredients are different combination. It means the Coke sold in Nigeria malls and shop are adultereted or of less ingredients.

I have attached the receipt of the Coke for verification in case you doubt..

Stop talking nonsense. 2 units of their currency. So why are they not earning 250,000 units of their currency monthly?

The price of that should be benchmarked against the average salary there.
Are you alright? 🥺

Read about a case some few years back, a man bought coca-cola in quantities and shipped abroad, thinking of the profit he's going to make, when the consignment got to the designated country, it was shipped back to Nigeria , declaring it unfit for human consumption. so the man sued coca-cola bottling company. The following conversation took place
Prosecutor:Why did you produce a substandard product for me to export, there by making me to lose my resources.
Defendant:we never knew you wanted to export it, the drinks we produce in Nigeria is made for Nigerian market and not for export.
So you see, the coca-cola might look same but not the same quality. Mind you this really happened in Nigeria, it's no fiction .

Lol.. I have drank both and I can say the difference is very clear.
Coca-Cola made in the UK vs the one produce in Nigeria taste different.

Please don't compare Canadian coke with Nigerian coke because they are not the same, Nigerian coke are full of sugar and water only.

I really do not like commenting in topics like this because most times they make no single sense....That $2.49 is technically just 2 unit of their currency..can 2 units of nigerian currency buy you that anywhere in Nigeria or Canada?

The sum total of social amenities, GDP per capita, standard of living, facilities that work, government responsibility towards the populace, including subsidised health care, habitable environment, dignity and humanity available in Canada, make that 3 dollars (1500 naira or so) far cheaper than your 400 naira.
"Cheap" coke plus 1000 naira per litre petrol plus band A, private borehole with no way to decode cost of data, food items, drugs and medical expenses as well as education, coupled with a totally detached and callous group of brigands and buccaneers in government gleefully adding daily to the cost of everything.

That 400 naira coke is actually the tip of an iceberg o.

Why are you out to deceive Nigerians?
You bought a coke from the fridge which is expensive. Why don't you show the price in the carton of 12 cans?

I had Heineken inside flight while traveling. Omo the quality is far ahead of what we consume in this country. When i also drink foreign beer they were also far ahead. They cost more but you can’t compare.

Things use to be good like that in this country until the economy was destroyed.

The op is not giving all info. That amount is when you buy from the fridge close to payment point. Normally, its about 70cents.

ignorance choke for this axis sha.see how many people come like the negative statement. Even in most shopping malls ,if one wants a coke produce abroad, u will get them there just that the price will be high and the bottle design is usually small unlike our own bottle that is giant type like the one below.
The major ingredient in coke is sugar with some few other things added to it. Back in Ilorin, kwara state , they use to have a production line then at Eid road they call it.Even Pepsi I think have there own company too close by.
As a student then each class use to visit the company then to study the impact of noise pollution on the workers health and usually they take us round the company and show us the processes of production. Na sugar majorly them dey use.
After everything they will bring out plenty crates of drinks out to entertain us. You know students nah, men go don station gala for bag for that period grin
