Maybe depending on Geographical location

But for most, eating meat in Lagos is some sort of luxury.

Most people have resorted to getting proteins from Fish and Egg(expensive).

Meat, especially Poultry like chicken and turkey, is now only seen in events like Weddings, Birthdays, etc

How many times do you eat meat in a week on an average?

The average adult would benefit greatly from eating at least 70-80 grams of protein every single day. undecided

When at work; morning, afternoon and evening. When at home; twice a day. The difference is quantity. It’s sufficient anyway.

Is the economy really that bad that people can't really afford to eat meat when they want to?

Your question is very ridiculous. Are you living in a hole or just pretending not to know that there are people who can't afford to buy meat?

Try buy layers chicken, maybe like three with two cocks, then enjoy eggs for the rest of your life and meeting your nutritional needs of protein in your diet.

I can't even afford it, most households don't eat meat anymore. Probably during festive season and only few can afford it
