And that is acceptable to you?

The mother wishes for her child to be born. I assume. Also, the father should wish the same

Anything is possible if we suppose it. Suppose Hitler was going to find the cure for cancer, may be the Allies should have allowed him to take over Europe and Russia.

If you were the father of this pregnant woman you would allow your brain dead daugther to be on life just because she's pregnant?

Maybe to you her baby means nothing, maybe to basilico the baby means everything.

We know the playbook,

We have heard of it multiple times

Everything Trump did, Yeah Biden wanted to do it before but slept off at the job

Which playbook?that Trump lied about the so called deals? That most of them were already in place before he got into power? And that it was all lies and propaganda.

My bro you can your Trump but in the face of obvious lies that will make you his ers look silly you should just kindly sit it out

It’s disgusting
ObaIgwe1:

Under any other president, Republican or Democrat, this would have been a walk of shame and might even be called a scandal. But catching Trump lying has become normal and one of those things. When I said decency should be a key to who become the president of US, his ers claimed every politicians lies, but not all politicians lie consistently and shamelessly like Trump and with no remorse when caught lying....rather he and his ers will gaslight everyone into other issues. And if you keep pointing it out, they will say you are suffering from TDS. What a shame Trump brings to the respected office he occupies.

If anyone should be talking about decency it shouldn't be the democrats

The same people who committed elder abuse and were willing to gamble the country's future when they pushed an obviously sick man and lying consistently about how it was just a stutter, he had a cold, it was tiredness from flying

How was the country actually run in those days and who was g the bills they claimed Biden did?

Anyone decent won't do that

Oh I see it is ok to take a bribe. Ok o.

I used to work in the ICU and I can tell you that what’s involved in keeping that woman’s body alive just so she can be used as an incubator is nothing short of horrendous.

Her body is actively trying to die and they’re doing everything they can to keep her in hell on earth just so she can be used to grow a fetus her family doesn’t even want.

The vasopressors to keep her blood pressure from bottoming out will turn her fingers and toes purple and they’ll eventually die and fall off. Why? Because vasopressors work but constricting the blood vessels and concentrating blood supply to the vital organs only. It’s a dire last resort solution that’s only intended to be used as a short term solution before the patient is stabilized or unfortunately es on. In her case she’s gone so what they are doing is basically desecrating a corpse.

The ventilator she’s on is just a vector for all kinds of stuff to crawl down her throat and cause respiratory colonization. I guess that doesn’t matter now.

Pretty sure they have all kinds of tubes sticking out her as well. Arterial line, probably a swan ganz, fecal management systems, urinary catheter etc. risk or pressure injuries/decubitus ulcers down to the bone

Most ICU nurses will make you promise to let them go if they ever find themselves in that situation.

Ridiculous pointless torture.

People have be kept on life for years and none of this you said happened to them. This isn't pointless torture the woman is pregnant because she wants the baby I'm sure any woman who genuinely wants a baby that unfortunately is in this situation will tell the doctors to do all they can to save her baby since there's nothing they can do for her.

What are you talking about? a baby is involved. It is acceptable, I want the baby of my daughter to be saved. My daughter would want her baby saved. The father would want his child saved. Common sense for some but unfortunately, some people don't value life.

You’re making assumptions on her behalf.

Yes people do stay for extended periods on life (not years. That’s just false information). People stay on extended life when there’s hope for recovery. Sometimes there’s no hope but the family is having a hard time letting go. We give them time to grieve and finally make the decision to pull the plug. But the patient and the family are given the choice to make this decision on their own. Where the patient doesn’t have an advanced directive for an incident like this, the next person on the family tree is given the choice to make that decision.
The list goes
patient (or parents if a minor)
spouse
adult children
adult siblings if none of the above is present

In extenuating circumstances where a patient has chosen a power of attorney with a clear mind and under no duress before losing their ability to make their own decisions, then that POA supersedes all the above.

What the govt is doing here is inserting themselves intimately into people’s lives to say they have ultimate power over their bodily autonomy above everyone listed above. Yet the Republicans keep claiming they are the party of small govt. no greater irony has ever existed than that statement.

And yes all the stuff I described earlier does happen to them on life . Recurrent UTIs, pneumonia, They can’t eat they have to be fed via peg tubes. Can’t breathe they have to be on a ventilator. Bed sores down to the bones if they’re not being turned at least every 2 hours. You can see their sacral bones peeking from their rotting flesh. It’s torturous awful existence that death is a mercy.

This started when she was 9 weeks pregnant. So many months of torture because you guys can’t get yourselves to see women as more than cattle for breeding new offspring.

I once had a guy on life for two months because the family couldn’t make up their minds on what to do. Despite every kind of care you give, they basically rot from the inside out (for want of a better word).

It’s a disgusting thing the state of Georgia is doing. Simple and short.

Not to mention the fetus that is being formed into a baby with this woman’s body is currently showing signs of fluid in the brain (hydrocephalus).

If they survive (BIG IF), they’ll be a human with lifelong disability needing round the clock care. Ask republicans to vote for lifelong free healthcare, free housing, free food, transportation etc for them and the next thing you’ll hear is how they hate handouts. Yet they keep creating situations that lead to less empowered people who need constant help and .

hydrocephalus can be treated. If there are fluids in the brain it can be drained even while the baby is in the womb.
The woman isn't surviving the child has a 80% chance of survival.

First there is no upper limit on how one can be on life .

But then you forget they are doing this to potentially save a life of a child an unborn child the woman is practically dead that the family wants to pull the plug. If this was a case of the pregnancy will cause harm to the women then yeah I'm all in for that kind of abortion if it's rape then I leave it to the woman's humanity to show mercy and not punish an innocent child that did nothing wrong. But heck this is about protecting the fundamental right to exist, to live.
Are you saying the child shouldn't get that chance because it's mother is dead?

A 9 week old fetus (that’s when her order started) is not your grand daughter
Humanizing it so as to take away agency from a full human woman is not the winning argument you think it is.

I’m saying this is a decision for the woman and her family. Simple and short. No ifs and buts.

The govt shouldn’t have a say on it.
Biggest example of govt overreach if I ever saw one.

Your statement in bold confirmed for me that you are probably not worth arguing with. A woman who decides to get rid of the result of sexual assault is punishing an innocent child? 🙄

You people really are the same wherever you find yourselves. A special breed of people that’s for sure

If you cared about deformed/disabled children so much you wouldn’t take the side of republicans. But that’s topic for another day.

I’m advocating the woman be allowed to rest in peace.
Before the advancement of medicine, what did people do when death came? They died. Was anyone accused of killing their unborn children because they allowed nature to take its course? I think not.

You trying to frame it as killing a child is that typical republican redefinition you guys do when you want to lie through your teeth and paint your perceived opponents in a bad light.

It’s one thing if the baby was viable before this happened. then we can say it’s a living baby that can exist in its own outside of its host. Therefore efforts to save it would make sense.

But solely keeping her body alive for months to grow a baby is a prime example of not seeing women as human.

Was it the child that assaulted her. Did the child tell the person to assault her. A child that will grow up to call her mummy and love her gets killed because we'll he is a product of an assault he or she doesn't know of. Is the woman on life died or not she is. So let's make the living our priority. The government is rigth to priotise the right of a living being to a dead human

You make it sound like many Americans were living like savages before their factories were shipped to Chyna.
Many were grateful they can now stop eating food using their hands because cutlery made in America was too expensive.

So, they can play and perhaps train together, but you draw the line at them competing together?

I am a Formula One fan, where women and men compete together. The only issue is finding women who can compete with men. They are not barred however.

They are playing, not competing. So yes, that's where the line is drawn... When competition is involved in football, you see strong tackles and energy that could be unfair to a woman or endanger her.

Men and women can play sports together as long as they are not competing at a professional level.
