It’s not the battery but the inverter that is shocking or is it not connected to the inverter already?
He said his battery case is shocking not his inverter. Except you're saying the battery is having a with the inverter.

First confirm if it will charge at 30v.
i confirmed today chief, was already blazing 80w at 35v of total voltage earlier this morning.

it's just the battery handles and terminal that is shocking but the inverter is not.

Please who can help me resolve this issue.

Only the battery and terminals of the battery that are shocking nothing else.

The installer got a bad battery for me at first and told me that the product he wanted buying wasn’t in the market. I was very angry with him and asked him why he didn’t call me. I didn’t even use the first battery at all. I asked him to return it the next day. He said we should buy Sako buy that it’s not the same price. I was already getting fed up with the whole stories. Out of trust, I involved my friend that is a PRO in the market and sent the balance for the Sako battery to him and asked him to help my installer before those guys will give him another nonsense battery because I was beginning to doubt the competence of my installer but I felt that involving this guy as a PRO/task force officer in Alaba, the distributor would respect himself and give my installer the correct thing. We have returned battery to Alaba more than 3 times since I decided to go on this journey. It’s been so much stress.

I have not called the PRO yet as I don’t know how best to handle this matter but I’ll definitely have to go to Alaba myself with the installer. He has been begging me that he didn’t know anything about what they planned because he’s aware that I wanted to arrest him. My wife had been begging me not to arrest him yet that he might not be a party to the dirty plan really.

These Alaba guys are terrible. Currently having a bad time with one battery gotten from a supposed direct OEMs store at Alaba. To get quality product from there is almost always like Russian roulette.

I intend adding extra 3 or 4 550watts s after this whole brouhaha has ended.

I heard that they don’t allow police or army to arrest anyone in Alaba. I don’t know how true that is. Nevertheless, I’ll get him arrested if he doesn’t cooperate.

Abeg be like I go need that your soldier soon.

there are lower capacity s people label with higher values to rip others off. Something of circa 300-350w is re-labelled as 600w. Wicked world.

Reason I kinda stopped/slowed down selling of used s with original label. People will say ahn ahn, your price is too cost then go and buy relabelled at cheaper price.

Humans can be hard to please jare.

That's a terrible advice. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that person is your installer that defrauded you.
Arrest the clown(s) and have them refund you.
Save the next person from rhis madness

@KudozInteriors

I said I wasn't going to advise you on what to do but letting these people get away with this scot free is the worst outcome.....and despite the lessons you learn I believe you will still regret it.

Take Jurors's advice seriously, book a session with Dam5reey, let him open the batteries and reveal this to the whole world on his Youtube and Tiktok channels. He'll probably hit a million views on only this case.

Callout Sako, callout Alaba, callout the fake PRO....no one will touch you once it gets on social media. Sako China will want to intervene to save their name, Alaba yeye market will want to intervene to reduce their useless name going around....no one will touch you.

Also you can report to FIJ journalism, they will take up the case and publish it on their website.

We can only get a better country if we all do our part.....this kind of rubbish cannot happen in China, and to think when I was born we used the Chinese name to laugh....now look at their society and look at ours. angry

Please, think about making this go viral, you will be proud to tell your family later on that you tried your best to fight injustice, just think about it.

Excellent advice 💯

This type of "shocking" problem is almost always caused by some form of leakage of the 220V AC mains voltage.

Many devices and appliances have a small leakage current that only becomes noticeable if there is no proper earth (ground) connection.

Test for AC Leakage: Use a multimeter to measure AC voltage between the battery metal parts and earth ground. Any significant AC voltage indicates a faulty charger or wiring issue that must be fixed or replaced

omo you're right, they just took light and the shocking have stopped.

It's leaking from the mains. How do I trace this?

Why?? If you cannot satisfy his quest for knowledge step aside. You yourself did not become knowledgeable overnight.

The research he has made so far on this thread has been quite captivating and will help future newbies.
It’s better he is even doing it here. Imagine he is going back to a physical store to ask or he is tormenting one technician that needs work.

I don't this will be the cause. Even if there's partial the voltage of the battery is merely 12v DC. It can't cause a shock.
I quite understood you, would have asked for clarification but was too lazy to ask ?

What you call shock is probably static shock. If it happens mostly when you charging from NEPA, then there's leakage somewhere.
if it's connected to Solar , then it's still static shock though this time, from a higher voltage source.

You see eh, unless one analysis and ask questions, it's difficult to just arrive at conclusion

...but I have said this here before na. If you observed, I mostly only recommend 300-watts and below.

Reason being that Should they want to inflate values, it's usually 300-watts Solar s they use hence that 500watts or 600watts solar just might be 300-watts.

But then again, I equally try not to overTalk certain things because I know say dem dey here, and I no want to dey feed them info. These are tricks I developed over time.

But then again sef, One could do testing if e want BUT that na stress if buying in large quantity

me sef don response since not knowing full details.

Anyways, best way to resolve this is take it to an electrician; any electrician who knows their work should be able to help you. Technical things no too dey easy to explain to people wey no dey technical hence I no go want to waste time telling you, make you no go spoil something or wound yourself.

Presence of inverter rules out my earlier guess of a static shock, this your own na real shock like say na NEPA light shock you.

something definitely is touching the casing inside. Not being grounded is not enough proof.

Me wey be say if you talk say na whatsApp calls only, I fit still ignore you because na stress to me. It's much cheaper for me to make that GSM call, than save your , or edit the strings and paste, then you - which still might take time before you respond. Me want to call and get a response ASAP
If I need such, like in this case, I request for it and make the urgent direct call. Deal sealed!

Do you have any recommendations on a 4kw/5kw hybrid inverter on 24volts?

Guyyyy i said i would chat you today about this, and you are already experiencing what i planned to talk to you about. Your central stabilizer is the cause. PERIOD.... Stabilizers are crazy for leakages. I know from experience. Only 2 solutions: 1. Earth your stabilizer, not to your main DB, since it is feeding the DB or 2. Tap your inverter AC input upstream to the stabilizer i.e before the stabilizer, where the stabilizer is getting its own input from.

Hope you understand?
