In my area, Akiode, Ojodu, Lagos, we have light for 20-22 hours when there is no fault or national grid collapse. We are on band A, but I wouldn't rate it more 6-6.5 because the standard is 24/7 power supply.

The tariff is very expensive and I hope they they do something about it, but if you can afford it, come to my area and get a room self con at the minimum of 700k because of light.

Though 700k might be okay for a self contained apartment but it's still high.
Mine is a mini flat of 450k, in an estate with security at the gate. All tiled also
Band A with a 10/10 score.
Just 2 in the compound and we pay 15k each monthly.
So far so good, I like the band A because I work from home so it favours me more.
PS. I'm in Lagos and not Ikorodu ✌️

700k is fair compared to some self contained at Omole, Ikeja and the likes in Lagos.

When we refuse to pay cost reflective tarrifs, and we also have millions who do not even pay at all, or do nice things like pay N2000 for power used in one month....we end up with a power sector that sustains massive losses, and cannot pay for even simple transformers and wires.

I mean, even Aso rock alone owes 4trillion naira, and probably millions of nigerians owe more.

Anytime I say cost reflective tarrifs on this site, people get abusive. No manner of abuse changes reality. If you were selling bread that cost you 1200 to make one loaf, you go sell am at N20 because people are poor?

Aside national grid collapse n vandals like Boko boys.....we have light here in Lafia.....almost 18 hours to 20.....if not for useless AEDC who can't even buy transformer n other major light materials....maybe our light would be 22 hours or more.....I'll rate him 6.5/7

We didn't enjoy our band A. So, NERC told DisCos to downgrade some areas to lower bands across the nation last week and my was downgraded to band C. Since last week now, it is a celebration if we had power supply for 4 hours a day. Some days, no light at all

I can boast of using 21hrs light in a day . Legit !
