Unknown gunmen kidnap community Chief in Agbele, Kwara State.

A community leader, Chief Oladipo Raphael Kayode, was on Sunday kidnapped by unknown gunmen from his home in Agbele, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Manjala reports that Chief Oladipo Raphael Kayode was kidnapped in around 9:40pm on May 11, 2025.

A family member who spoke to Kwara updates stated that the incident had been reported at the anti kidnapping unit of the Police headquarters in ilorin.

As at the time of filling this report, his whereabouts remain unknown, as his family has not received any communication from the abductors.

Efforts to get reactions from the police command proved abortive as the State PPRO didn't pick her calls.
