Flying Eagles and the curse of the white jersey. All their uninspiring performances have come in the white jersy. |

Arierhi Kparobo is a fine talent. I rate him highly. Might have missed it today in a couple of our offensive transitions but I know he is capable of more than he showed today. He will improve. elyte89: |

minfelix:It's time to move on, for once we beat Argentina we did not just beat them we humiliated them in their backyard. And who did that one of the most hated coach Is time to move on, siasia is good no doubt but is time to move on this team is good they play compact football is just ill luck that made them lose today. .they dominated the South Africans. With some new players and a little twick in the formation surely we should do well in the world cup. 3 Likes |

The South Africans have developed their football We’ve remained stagnant or regressed SA male & female senior teams won medals at recent African tournaments Now u20 just won a medal SA didn’t even dream of getting medals a few years ago What is going on NFF SA also got to quarter finals in CAF male u17 tournament , Nigeria didn’t qualify for the tournament Worrying 3 Likes |

Odunayaw:What are you talking about ? Results matter Not shabby performance We weren’t clinical Our bad substitute goalie caused us the game South Africa won & that’s what history records They’re a more technically disciplined side, that’s why they won 1 Like |

yinkeys:One goalie error and South Africa won, them don turn most technical... People wey Flying Eagles wan k!ll... I'm not saying our boys are the best or they're not, I'm not even a fan of these set of Flying Eagles, but there's nothing "more technical" about South Africa yesterday. Na Uzoho cost us that game. 3 Likes |

BankyGee:The GK errors of wrong timing coming out were more than 1 Only lucky just 1 resulted in a goal You don’t need to win possession to win games, Morocco at 2022 World Cup reminded us about this. Just take your chances when it’s created/available Glad that game will humble them so that they prepare properly for u20 World Cup. And try to win it too |

orriyomi33:Boy should have been in Tottenhams spot at the Europa League cup final but his teammates messed up They succumbed to pressure Would’ve been awesome & a loud statement to clubs trying to shortchange him if he won treble |

yinkeys: I swear, their defence was in shambles in the Europa League's league phase... They were the best team offensively and scored the most goals in the phase only to still be the second team with most goals conceded at the same time... It was after the Europa League elimination they made defensive reinforcement, g Frankowski from Lens, Eren Elmali from Trabzonspor, Mario Lemina from Wolves, Cuantos Cuesta (this one no good sha, he don hold bench tight now)... If these new players were there in the Europa League, Galatasaray for no dey leak anyhow how they did then... The "abo" means "half" in Yoruba - Three men and half. |

BankyGee: The management messed up They didn't Lemina and Elmali in the Europa league They went to kutucu and Cuesta If Lamina and Elmali played that match and Sallai played as a RB things would have been different That Elmali guy is really good 1 Like 1 Share |

Odunayaw:Pls I'm not here to talk down on Yekinis achievements, for me having 37goals as a record for over 30yrs is embarrassing as a football power house we claim. Look at The Drogbas, Etos, Gyans are at least more recent. Pls my comment have nothing to do with Yekinis goals vs number of games debate. Even if it's 40goals in 200 games. |
Kog45(m): 9:17am On May 16 |
zicky:What's embarrassing when we don't allow other strikers to have longevity in eagles... imagine Osimhen just beat Odegbami record of over 43 years. Good that we are having Osimhen now |
Napoleon55(m): 12:51pm On May 16 |
Kog45:Kanu on 86 apps is the one who supposed to have given us those similar numbers of goals his fellow greats like Eto'o, Drogba,Salah gave their countries, but he wasn't a prolific forward. After Yekini, Aghahowa, Ayegbeni, Martins,Ik Uche and Iheanacho all showed promises but none of them were able to reach up to 60 caps. Now we have Osimhen who is capable of getting up to 80 caps baring any career threatening injury. Give or take, Osimhen will give us from 40-60 goals following his current trajectory. 3 Likes |

Samueltemi337:I swear, what I was expecting from Cuesta is what Elmali is giving me, solid defensively and offensively... Galatasaray started keeping clean sheets back as those guys grew into the team. Those were real gs. |

🚨 Victor Osimhen is now the most followed Nigerian footballer on Instagram with 6 million followers on the Zuckerberg owned app! 🔥 He sured Henry Onyekuru (5.9 million) to reach this milestone! 🔥🇳🇬 4 Likes |

Wish Victor Osi did not ignore the fellow Nigerian in Trabzonspor after the cup final game Being a yoruba/edo boy raised in yoruba land, he must show respect to the elder footballer ![]() |
oloriooko(m): 3:48pm On May 16 |
from the body language of the boys, the ultimate aim was to qualify for U20 WC which they did SA was not better in any way, we dominated the game overall and the goal we conceded was a notorious goal keeping error, nothing spectacular and it has NOTHING to do with that beautiful jersy ![]() now the coaching crew can review the tapes and search for players to boost the squad Nomyth: |
