You have lived abroad and know exactly how city roads should be built:

..............

So why are you building this rubbish?

Where are people supposed to walk?

Why is the drain not covered?

Primitive Professor.

My brother just imagine how beautiful that street would have looked if they just built it the right way?

Everything is there. The nice houses. The tarred road.

Ok, just do the final touch by adding a wide sidewalk on either side of the road, with covered drains, and that street would look like Miami, Florida.

We don't lack anything in this country.

We just refuse to use our brains, that's all.

Soludo is just a book intelligent person but not smart …. Some of his policies have shown he’s just sound academically but not experienced in the field, he can make a good adviser because he does well on researches but he’s not smart enough to understand governance and it’s implementation

I think it's just basic lack of care. Lack of love.

That road was built out of obligation, not out of love and respect for his people, and it shows.

If you are a caring governor - a caring human being - you would ask ''Where will children walk on this road?''

''Are they supposed to be walking on the tarmac alongside speeding vehicles and lorries? What about women? What about the elderly? The disabled? Where will they walk on this road I'm building?''

Any decent human being would ask themselves that question, especially someone that has lived overseas, and seen how roads are built.

They must complain about everything.

People who insult others for not ing peter obi reflect intolerance, and we must respond with calm firmness, promoting respectful dialogue while refusing to stoop to their level. Professor W.S

That's what happens when you do something out of show-off and not because you care

They must complain about everything.

You are truly demented.

I'm sure you own a vehicle and never walk anywhere longer than for 5 minutes, so you don't care.

Typical selfish thing.

Who told you I Obi? I don't.

So, face the topic.

I don't see any issue with the road. This is a common design in many Nigerian cities, especially for internal roads running through neighborhoods, no pavement.

When I see some roads Omo e go just tire me, just like one in front of U.NN main gate, tiny road with big gutter that is wild open. Why not cover the gutter so that people can walk there. If rain falls to walk on that road na big problem

What do you mean you “don’t see any issue with the road”?

Will you be comfortable with your young child taking a walk along that road?

You people are just thick.

You lack basic intelligence.

That’s why the roads look shabby everywhere.

But you all like good stuff and nice environment, which is why the first big money you get, you run to London or Dubai or America.

If the people there were like you, and “saw no issues” with dirty, open gutter roads with no sidewalks, would you go there?

No.

So why do you “see no issues” with the shabby, mediocre roads being built in your own country?

Same thing I wonder when I such places. Just useless people with no brain that we call “leaders”, “governors” and all these titles that they don’t deserve, because they don’t think.

my point is...In most cities/town in Nigeria it is normal design for internal roads in of the pavements. If you are talking about world standard is just about the pavements, but other amenities like Hydrant, trees, bicycle docking station and a good drainage system etc. But here in nigeria is a norm to have roads especially internal roads without a well constructed pavement...if the road is fine, then we are good. Nigeria for you.

Is he not aware or did he not research that a covered drainage system is more practical and beneficial than an open one?

Most soludo roads have walkways.. but still have open drainage... The reason for open drainage is for effective cost of evacuation... Here alot of ppl are still illiterate ND indecipline... they evacuate waste into the gutters even if they are court ND fined . They still hide to do it...

So Mr. Man, get to know all reasons before u criticize

I do not Soludo, but Nigerians are not yet matured enough for conduit or covered drains.
