domin8: Do you have the screenshot of the vehicles description..... If you don't, your credit card provider would request it from car dealer..... Try hiyacar or turo (this are P2P providers).... It might work out cheaper..... 1 Like 1 Share |

AgentXxx: Disregarded. Just to clarify, here's a summary of what Labour has proposed: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/may/12/whats-in-uk-immigration-white-paper-visa-rules-deportations-fees |

Raalsalghul:To return home because most would. Before these proposed changes, the costs involved just to become a citizen were ridiculously high. Then imagine with say two children. I read some still carry their born born mentality enter UK. I recall one lady on Facebook narrating how she took on more shifts so she could her husband, so they could cater for their four children. They go about birthing children anyhow, even across the Mediterranean ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 1 Like |

Cyberknight: Cooper just clarified in Parliament that some changes such as increasing the salary threshold will be brought in fairly quickly, while others will require consultation and primary legislation |

Hoping after all these gbas gbos we can finally rest from all the ‘immigrants are our problems and the reason we don’t have jobs or hospitals appointments rubbish’ We can only anticipate we begin to hear Brits talk more about economic productivity and getting back to work, any more finger pointing after this will just be comedy 😂 2 Likes |

justwise: Graduates can still work any job during PSW, but the PSW will be reduced to 18 months after which they will need a graduate level role in order to qualify for a skilled visa. |

This news touch me o! I hope they don’t do the 10 year wait. It’s already draining counting down to the 5year route. An additional 5 years could lead to more exploitation of workers, desperation and the feeling of being less wanted. Instead of encouraging integration with the community it will foster more separation. Many may not want to leave because of the uncertainty elsewhere. There will be more borrowing on the parts of immigrants leading to more struggles to pay the exorbitant visa fees. It now seems that seeking asylum may become a more faster route to settlement as once successful, you are granted a settled status ( not encouraged though). Well, it’s their country and their rules but if implemented, it is a clear breach of contract as this wasn’t what was promised before many embarked on the journey. Let’s watch as the story unfolds

Peerielass: I came to this country in 2009 on the back of Labour government liberal immigration policies, and I and my household have always voted Labour. I voted for them just recently in the council elections. I wouldn't be in the UK today if not for a Labour government. I have ed Labour and Starmer on all policies until now. However, I just cannot Labour on this immigration policy. Let's see were it all leads to in the coming years. |

Ha, have you always used the same BVN for other bank applications? Check with the bank you did your registration with and see what they can help with. justwise: |

claremont: Were they really liberal in 2009? If I correctly, this was during Tony Blair and Gordon Brown’s era with their British jobs for British graduates slogan and changes to HSMP. I despised Labour back then and my political stance hasn’t shifted after all those years. 1 Like 1 Share |

Peerielass: Labour is meant to be the immigration-friendly party naw (the lesser of all evils). Theresa May cancelled PSW back in 2011 and lots of students were impacted. I don’t expect any immigrant esp. those on the pathway to citizenship voting Conservatives or Reform. With Labour following the same path, it feels like we’ve been left politically homeless. Unfortunately, the Lib Dems, Greens, and others don’t seem like realistic options either. In the end, it looks like we’ll need to start focusing on fixing Nigeria ourselves—because at this rate, they’re trying to send us back before we even hit our original japada (retirement) plan. |

Something that worked for me was swapping the dates instead of dd/mm/yyyy format try mm/dd/yyyy especially if your date of birth is from 01 to 12. Some of the banks during initial BVN capture, erroneously used the wrong date format. Try this and see, might be lucky. justwise: 3 Likes |

Instead of reforming tax distribution, improving social care policies and stopping illegals arriving on small boats and restricting graduate visas to graduates from STEM courses like it's done in the USA. Far worse; Labour is now trying in a haste to compete with reforms hardline and far right immigration policies like proposing 10yrs ILR route for all currently on skilled worker visa ![]() Now - despite the fact that we have a major shortage of care workers, Labour is now going to ban the recruitment of overseas careworkers who are willing and want to do this work. I'm not sure what Labour is aiming for here, It seems they are intent on losing the next election. I can't imagine too many pensioners voting for Labour and pensioners can well determine the outcome of a general election in the UK. 5 Likes |

dannytoe: It was never about illegals as they do not pose a threat anywhere, illegals are always just used as a soft and sweet spot for the rhetoric games. Those who come in legally are always the end game. Just like the US they started deporting illegals and before you know it they started cancelling student visas so it’s the same strategy. Use the illegals to drive your rhetoric and then pounce on your actual target 😂 5 Likes |

How does named (additional driver) work in car insurance policy? I am the experience driver and I want to add my wife to the policy as she will start driving. Which will give me cheaper ? Taking the policy in my name and adding her as additional driver or taking the policy in her name and adding myself as additional driver? |
