In 1989, a young second year Law Student of University Of Nigeria Nsukka, Bianca Onoh, participated in the Intercontinental Beauty Pageant, which was anchored by Silverbird boss, Ben Murray Bruce.

Bianca was daughter of former Anambra State Governor, Chief CC Onoh, and had previously won 'Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria' pageant(MBGN) the year before. Bianca Onoh went on to win Miss Africa, and was announced as Intercontinental pageant winner by Bruce.

Unfortunately, during her reign as Miss Intercontinental, news burst that she was dating former Biafran Warlord, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. She resigned her title, stating that the intense media attention on her private life made it impossible to fulfil her duties as Miss Intercontinental

Bianca returned to her studies and married Ojukwu shortly after qualifying as a Lawyer in the 1990's.
